I wear a 7 3/8 (23") hat. I was concerned the Avery wouldn't fit, so I spoke to Brook at Wallaroo. She was very helpful. She informed me, as stated in the description, that a M/L hat was 23 1/4", but the adjustment band would snug it up about 1/4". I said a she short prayer and pressed "Buy It Now". This hat was replacing a Panama hat that had a long and rough life It was now only fit for a mule. I had checked out all the Wallaroo styles and felt this one was me. Stylish, but not over the top, had never seen this style before. Also liked the fact it wasn't made of natural materials, as it might be able to handle a little precip. I really wanted this hat!Hat arrived in two days. Was well boxed, no problems with shipping. I put the hat on and it was too big. Velcroed the adjustment band to it's smallest size and BANG!, perfect fit. Over the hill happy! Thanks again Wallaroo and Brook.

I needed an alternative to lathering sun screen and this delivered. I liked both the style, fit & color of the hat. What I didn't like was the cheap & shabby way that the ban was installed. Hot glue was used & on the second day that I wore it because, it's very hot here where I live, the hot glue melted and ban with it's medallion fell of without me realizing it until a few days later. So I would suggest that the mfgr go back to stitching these items onto the hat. I know that the company can save a few dollars by using glue rather than stitching. However, giving the end user a quality product for his money, will bring more sales that will more than compensate for the few cents in additional cost incurred for stitching.

He has been wearing British-style caps years 'round to cover his bald head, but with no visor there's no shielding his face from the sun. This allows him to look very nice on weekends and shield both head and face. Looks really sharp--and very good quality. I recently purchased a Wallaroo sun hat myself and am so happy with it, esp. the adjustable tie inside since most hats are too big for me. This hat has a Velcro adjustment so that my husband with an XL head can wear it, and I can too if I needed to for some reason. (I have sun sensitivity, so there IS a chance I would need to borrow it.)
