Reflections of Mamie-A Story of Survival This product was ordered and delivered quickly because we are Prime members which I can truly recommend. However, the zipper was bad in our unit and it was not particle to use without it. I called the manufacturer and was told a replacement would be sent after we submitted proof of purchase, photo, and e-mail submitted. I did all that but two weeks passed. I called again and they said they had not received my requested information. I submitted it again.About one week later, a new unit arrived. So other than the time wasted to use this unit, this is a great place for your dog to feel safe. Their own space thats protected with a top yet zippers open for a feeling of openness. I think the unit would be much better if the used metal stays in the circular tent to make it studier. Now if your puppy should stand on the sides, it falls over.Otherwise, this is a perfect solution for short times for your puppy. We plan to use it when our puppy grows up as her own space and we do not need to worry about her getting out. I would NOT recommend this unit when you are gone as they can find a way out if they truly want out.I also recommend you use very large blankets to fill in the entire area and then a blanket for them to lay on they can toss around. This way they won't try to pull up the velcro'd floor.

I purchased this product, not for a dog, but several cats. I needed a way to corral a bunch of outdoor kittys, at night, in order to keep them from scratching my neighbors cars. Ideally, the product has worked fairly well. I set-up the unit in my garage and left one side entry unzipped to allow the kittys entry at dinner time. This worked well, however, I would recommend a couple of modifications to the manufacturer: 1.) a second zipper is needed on the top netting that is accessible at the 2nd side panel entry. There is currently only one zip at one side entry for the top netting, so in order to place food. water etc. into the playpen from the top, you have to always be on that side of the playpen (in my case, a tight squeeze between my garqage door and the playpen with the door down. A second zipper on the opposite side would have been great. 2.) The bottom of the playpen has a ground cover, that only is affixed by velcro at about 8 points. Animals, dogs or cats, like to dig or "root" around the bottom and eventually will find a way under the velcro botton. It would have been nice if the bottom zipped in as well. Otherwise, its a sturdy and roomy product, that I would recommend, just be aware of the few shortcommings it has.

I had high hopes for this playpen to contain my VERY small puppy but wasn't super pleased when everything was said and done. We purchased the playpen when he was 10 weeks and only about 2 pounds. Within 2 weeks he figured out how to escape the playpen by wiggling under the bottom layer. The solid bottom of the playpen is not firmly adhered to the sides; it is only velcroed, while the top of the playpen (despite being mesh) is zippered to the walls. We purchased extra velcro to keep the bottom down flat, but it didn't really stick to the slick fabric. So we ended up buying cinder blocks and weighing down all of the sides so that our tiny puppy couldn't escape. Within 4 months of having the playpen, he learned how to pull apart the zippered door to escape. Within 6 months, he chewed a hole in the mesh walls. Overall, this was a very temporary solution and is not meant for smart dogs! (After the playpen, we purchased a very large metal dog crate... has worked for months on end without incident) It's easily collapsible, slightly flimsy on the bottom and should only be used with supervision.

We got this for our rabbit.The bunny has his own private room, but we like to bring him out with us in the main part of the house sometimes. With a lot of cats, it was our idea to use this device to protect the bunny from the cats.It does well on that. The cats walk around it and look at the bunny - who does not seem to care about the cats.If a kitty jumps on top of the thing, it will collapse. Bunny is safe as we are right there with him, but we have to pick the cat up off of the playpen thing and stand it up again.It is great for this purpose, and I imagine it works well for its intended purpose as well. The top has a zip on screen, and screen windows all around it. The bottom (which we don't use) attaches with hook and loop material. I think that is fine, but a zippered bottom might have been a better idea.

I have had this pen for a couple weeks now. Before I got the pen, I had been kenneling my two pugs while at work and whenever I was not at home. I have always felt bad that they were in such a confined space. I decided to give the pen a try in hopes that it would allow my dogs a little more freedom and comfort while home alone.Some people have had problems with their dogs escaping from the pen. I have not, yet. I let the dogs get comfortable with the pen for about a week before I tried to totally enclose them. They had the freedom to go in and out and I rewarded them with treats whenever they got in it. Since I use the pen indoors, I added an old comforter to the floor for added comfort and to make it harder for the dogs to get out. I think my dogs are enjoying it.Overall, this product has been a blessing so far. I feel better that my dogs are more comfortable and I hope they're appreciating the added freedom as well. I look forward to using the pen when traveling and also using it outdoors.

This pen has met my expectations. It is very easy to assemble, packs up in a bag that is easy to carry. My little dog 🐶 is very happy in it. There are pouches for supplies on the side and the top zippers on. I would have given five stars, but the floor is only attached with Velcro, which could easily allow a dog to escape if they really wanted out. It is important to supervise dogs in this pen.

I recently purchased and received this amazing deluxe animal playpen. It was delivered to my door within 3 days of purchase and it was better than what I expected.Very easy to assemble and disassemble. Comes with a convenient carrying case. The material and screens are durable, as well as very easy to clean. The floor pad is removable, which is handy being that my dogs love laying in the grass.Lots of additional pockets on the side for toys, treats, etc.Overall, I am extremely satisfied with this item and would recommend it for any small-medium dog or animal owner.

It was easy to clean when the cats made a mess in there, but they can get halfway out. They've figured out how to dig their way under the pen, but then they get stuck underneath it and forget how to get back inside, and they don't know how to lift the edge to get the rest of the way out.The bottom should be more secured, you guys know animals can dig right? Should have been a zipper on the bottom instead of velcro.

The pen is going in the right direction but the bottom cover is poorly designed. It is held down by small Velcro in only 8 spots (each side). It is easily pulled up by the puppy playing inside the pen or intentionally biting, pulling the cover up and then getting underneath and free in the house. Suggestions would have the bottom zippered just like the top is, or have more bigger & heavier duty Velcro strips. If this is improved in some way that the puppy/dogs can't pull it up or is harder to do so, I would buy it for sure. Nut until then, I would avoid buying this product as it becomes useless as it is packed up and put away now.

I bought this for my snake or rabbit to be able to exercise but mainly use for hot summer days.
