There's a sticky coating on the ball which is hard to get rid off. It's like when you peel of a sticker but the gym stays on.

this a a good kendama for starters but you will need to get a extra string because mine broke 2 days after i got mine but anything else about this ken it great the paint does not chip but you should supper glue the spike.

The silk paint is a joke, it's wears off really easily by doing lighthouses. But the paint helps for bird so it's a ok ken

This seems to be the "new it toy" w/ younger kids. My boy loves to play his kendama! Nice quality and it shipped quickly.

Our grandson loved this gift. Apparently it's all the rage among his age group (middle school). He practices on it constantly and we're amazed at what he can do with it.

Great kendama now I just need to get better, it can perform most tricks with enough patience.

とりあえず何をやっても続かない性格なので技が成功しやすいラバータイプでモチベーションを維持すると言う意図がありこちらを購入しました。ラバータイプだけあって滑らず、手に吸い付く感じでとてもいいです。ただやはり噂通りラバーの強度がないため一日でここまでラバーが剥がれてしまいました。自分はわかっていて購入したので問題はありませんが、強度面や見た目を気にする方にはあまりお勧めしません。始めようと思ってる方のモチベーション維持に最適なものかと思います。これがダメになったときは改善２．０を試してみようと思います。
