Not what I was expecting! But very good!
I am always looking for products to help me save time and money. I make processed meats all the time to have some nice protein snacks on hand year round. Teriyaki is my favorite flavor and I saw this seasoning and thought I would try it out. When I got it I tried it straight out of the bag with a little bit on my finger. Hmmm ok tasted nice but wasn't getting that teriyaki taste I am use to. I know things taste different in dry from vs used in what is being made. Anyways I followed instructions and mixed up 5 lbs of meat and made jerky strips a sausage log and some meat balls. I took half the batch and smoked it and the other half in the dehydrator. So I had a good idea what would taste the best.I have been eating this jerky last week and I have to say this seasoning taste really good but was hard to find that teriyaki flavor I was looking for. I will add I did make my own 5lbs of teriyaki meat using liquid teriyaki processed the same way So I had to two to compare. I know my taste buds are different than everyone else's so it might just be me. The seasoning is good and will be happy to use up the rest in my next batches. Next time I think I will add a little liquid teriyaki to the mix and see how that goes. Over all I probably will not buy it again but I would recommend at least trying it once. I am a content creator on YouTube buying new products all the time hoping to help some one out.

Good flavor
The seasoning tasted wonderful and was well priced. I used it to make venison jerky. My only issue was when I received it, it was hard and compacted. I had to break it up into large chunks and run through a food processor to make it measurable. I then vacuum sealed it to keep out moisture.

Difficult to make smaller batches
The directions make it almost impossible to make a 1/2 or 1/4 of a batch.

Solid as a rock
Package arrived quickly but when I opened it, the seasoning was hard as a brick. The only way I could salvage it was to use an old fashioned grater and then let the grinds soak overnight in a half gallon of teriyaki sauce. I then poured that into my tray of meat and thoroughly mixed it up and let that sit overnight. I have bought a lot of Legg seasoning for sausage making without issue but I think going forward I'll be more hands on when buying my jerky seasoning.

Venison Sticks
Flavor was very weak and seasoning delivered as hard as my head. Had to take a hammer and chisel, felt like a beaver with tools going to town on it just to get it to a mixing state. I’ll be searching for another brand…not for me
