Worked a treat!
I needed to enlarge a hole to improve access around a waste pipe and after a failed attempt at using tile cutting blades for a multi tool, I stumbled across this drill bit which I coupled with a 3D printed 'guide' (temporarily stuck to my tiled wall with dbl sided tape).I took things slowly and kept dipping the hole saw in water to keep it cool, it went through a 12mm tile (which the multi tool had made zero impression on!) within a minute or so and did a very clean job of it too!

Good value - best deal around
Excellent collection of bits, used on 8mm thick porcelain tiles to cut 4 x 30mm holes and 8 x 8mm. Made a wood template and held it where I wanted the holes, flooded with water and drilled. Let the weight of the drill do the work. Nice clean holes. The 30mm and 8mm bit look to have quite a bit more life in them. The 6mm drill bit was used on a different job – only lasted 6 holes. For what I needed the kit for and at the price this is by far the best deal around.

Decent kit for price
I dont use this kit often but great to have at hand for the price i paid via amazon vouchers.Used 1 core to drill through ceramic wc cistern lid to accomodate a flush push type button.

Good for glass
These are good, if cutting glass, use a battery , not a mains drill then cool the cutting area with a trickle of water to reduce the risk of thermal shock breaking or cracking the glass.

So far has cut through porcelain tiles very well
Used by husband who is tiler by trade. He says that he has used it on a couple of jobs, and so far this has cut through the porcelain tiles he has had to use very well.Recommends a guide to make initial start easier.Does not know how many cuts he will get out of it, but no sign of instant wear.Overall very happy

Works - but not super accurate!
It takes some adjustment to get the unit aligned allowing for accurate drilling. The suction pad does not hold the unit firmly so the use of a clamp or two is required. It will help you to get the job done but have some patience and even conduct a test or two before committing.

Good value, did a good job on thick porcelain by using wooden hole as template
I bought the 1"/50mm hole saw and I think it is good value and works well if you go about cutting the hole(s) the right way. I had to cut six very hard 9mm porcelain tiles (plus some trial holes) and it did not show any noticeable wear at the end of the job. Using the method I list below, you can cut reasonably accurate holes (even with no central bit). At a guess I would say I could have got another 20 holes in thick porcelain out of it at the very least, and very much more in standard fired tiles. As mentioned elsewhere, the hole saw has no central bit. That's not a problem and I recommend the following:1 Cut a hole in a suitable piece of plywood using a standard hole saw of the same size2 Place and clamp the ply so that the hole is exactly where you need to drill.3 Drill on low speed and lots of water - do not let the cutting edge get dry or hot4 Be patient!I had to drill some part holes (eg on the edge of a tile) and the plywood guide also made that easy.
