these are underwear...not shorts
I read 2 poor reviews but it seems the buyers expected these garments to be shorts, not underwear as clearly stated in the description. Yes, they are thin, sheer and very lightweight as underwear should be. The fit under my non-padded tights well. The pad is narrow and didn't feel like I was wearing a diaper. I also used them for horseback riding under riding tights. They performed well and I will be getting more.

Comfortable chamois. Gentle stretch eliminates creasing at waist or leg opening!
These are my favorite padded shorts for MTB! They are very breathable and are intended to be worn as underwear, however, the mesh provides enough coverage to wear as shorts. I wear both ways depending on the weather and trail. The chamois is the most comfortable fit that I've found. Other shorts would slowly ride up and the padding for my sit bones would end up on my upper glutes OR the chamois would be too wide between my legs and feel awkward. These shorts are just-right. (I still use a balm to prevent chafe on extended rides.)The wide waist band does not dig in, roll down, or create a muffin top. Other brands have a sticky seam or extra band at the leg opening, which creates a sausagey look on me. I am thrilled that these have a less aggressive leg opening! The opening stretches to fit and does not crease my legs! For reference, I am 5'4" 137lbs. (Sz. 4 US pants). My thighs are 22". I wear a medium in these shorts.

Good padding, good fit!
I tried 2 different brands at this price point at the same time, and these are much better! Significantly more padding in the front, better waistband fit/design. I have no complaints. I’m 5’ 7” 133 lbs and medium is perfect.

Love these underwear shorts.
Light weight and breathable. You need to wear these under something. A little see through to be worn alone. These are not shorts, they are underwear.

Great For Unicycling!
I got these for riding my unicycle. These are great. They add the necessary padding to make unicycling just a little less uncomfortable. Yes, you have to be aware they are UNDERWEAR, not shorts.

So comfortable and cute too!
I’m a grad student and I bought these to bike into Washington, DC every day for class. These are able to be worn under a skirt or dress and taken off upon arrival, or under pants or other shorts. They’re super light and breathable and cute too! I am not sure if they’re supposed to be liners or what, but I also just wear them alone with a workout top. They aren’t transparent or anything and I like that they’re bright. They also aren’t super constricting like other bike shorts I’ve tried. For reference I am 5’5” and 145 lbs. I normally wear a size 4 or S/M in bottoms. The price was great too!

Almost perfect just needs a little more padding
Used these to ride my Proform studio bike. They helped a lot. I bought 3 different pairs at the same time and of the 3 brands these are my favorite. Maybe I’m looking for a miracle, but they could use a little more padding. I’m hoping with the seat I ordered I’ll have the ride I’m hoping for.

The fit is accurate & the padding just works.
Nice padded underwear to wear underneath your favorite shorts or skirt while mountain biking. I’ve purchased name brands and paid much more for cycling shorts in the past. These work well & I am pleased with the quality and fit.
