My wife and I are taking a trip to Europe kicked off with Oktoberfest and we’ve been doing a lot of research as to what we need to keep our devices connected and charged. We had bought a few adapters for the European plugs but we learned that we also needed an adapter for the European voltage, which is what this is for. We sent the details to our friends already living in Germany (that travel to Italy, France and Budapest all the time) and they give this their stamp of approval and guarantee that this is exactly what we needed. When we unpacked it to take photos to share with them we could tell that it is very well built and well engineered - this is going to serve us well for many trips in future years!

Very loud. Has a cooling fan that sounds like an airplane that is on all the time.
