I love this broody box because it is transparent and the way it turns the eggs is so simple BUT the temperature and humidity measure us way off. I had to buy a separate humidity and temp. thermometer and put it inside

I saw bad reviews about this product but it didn't stop me buying it.It comes with instructions which are easy to understand. This incubator doesn't come with humidity settings, only the temperature settings, but I bought a small humidity thermometer to go inside the incubator so I could make sure I've got it right humidity every time I turned the eggs,to keep the humidity in the incubatorthe instructions told you to damp the sponge, but what I did I added extra water to the area where the sponge sat so the humidity was right for the incubator. The instructions told you to put the eggs in the pointy side down in the holes and to turn them 2 or 3 times per day, but I layed my eggs on there side and turned them by hand every 2hrs from 9am until 9pm, the instructions also says to pull the wire out everytime you went to open the incubator, I wouldn't suggest you do that, I just took the the lid off very quickly, turned the eggs and put the lid back on, don't worry about the sound as the temperature alarm will go off quickly after putting the lid back on and it doesn't affect the egg hatching. When it comes to lockdown I did a dry hatch and all my eggs hatched with no problem or assisting.

Used for incubating chicks . Totally unreliable thermostatic control so worrying during incubation period of over 3 weeks that chicks would hatch . In practice only 14 live chicks did hatch out of a total of 56- some needed help .Problem with temperature control caused problems associated with hatching and low number of live chicks at end of process .Bad buy and not reliable . Need to buy an accurate thermometer to keep inside incubator when idea of this incubator was to make process simpler and more efficient .Failed and not worth buying .

Sadly no eggs hatched, although three eggs were fertile. Have now bought a Brinsea. Very hard to judge humidity with this machine and temperature was erratic.

Just waiting for hens to lay

This product has no way to measure humidity without buying an additional humidity monitor, so we have had no success thus far with this incubator 🤦‍♀️ hopefully now I have a humidity measure we will!

This product is a total waste of time and money. It’s not fit for purpose. There is no way of checking humidity which resulted in 5 out of 6 fertile eggs not hatching and 1 poor little chick becoming shrink wrapped inside shell and needing help to get out. Don’t waste your time and money on this junk. I now have 3 heartbroken children who have had to watch whilst the poor chick fought for its life.

Absolutely awful product. The power cable does not fit in properly so constantly turning off. Do not recommend
