MARENA LGS2 Stage 2 Recovery High-Waist Zipperless Girdle, Short Length Post-Surgical Girdle for Women

My surgeon recommended Marena products post reconstruction surgery (abdominal and inner thigh tissue removed and used to reconstruct breast after radical mastectomy). Compression is important to maintain as the surgical trauma heals so I needed to wear this day and night. I bought this one and a cheaper version to alternate and only this one was both supportive/compressive and actually comfortable. It’s also easy to slide on (well as easy as any compression garments can be), hugged but didn’t pinch and stayed put. It was mostly invisible under clothes. (The less desirable product pinched unpleasantly and was increasingly uncomfortable the longer I wore it, took some gymnastic skill to get on and off and had bumps and protrusions that limited my clothing choices.) So this is by far the superior product and worth the extra money in my opinion. Life isn’t all that pleasant after surgery so investing in something that makes it incrementally better is well worth it.

I had a mommy make over 6 weeks ago and the tummy cincher they put me in wasn't working, it was but the swelling in the beginning gave me Kardashian ass and it wouldn't stay down, kept rolling up. So I ordered this and it runs from above the knee to just under the boobs. It's VERY comfortable and the crotchless is truly crotchless. It's not hard to get on or take off. Now that swelling has gone down more I'm going to order the XL. I put the cincher on over this and it works great and doesn't roll up as before. It is the same brand as the post surgery cincher they put me in.

It doesn't roll down and does the job. I took off one star for the fit. Their sizing chart should include options for different torso lengths and not just circumference. This is a little too long for my torso, which made it uncomfortable at the top.

This is the best one that I’ve found. I like that it goes to the knee abs doesn’t make unsightly shapes under clothing. It holds thighs and tummy well and has a good sized hole in center to still use the restroom, if needed.

After surgery I was looking for a compression garment that would be the next stage. This one seemed to check all the boxes. However after only a week of wearing it, it got a hole in a really weird spot. I tried contacting the company multiple times.... Email, calling etc. Nothing. Voice mailbox was too full and couldn't receive any more. So Amazon sent me a new one to exchange it for since it was defective. This one has to be used! It literally smelled like a full jug of fabric softener from the 80s had been dumped on it! For $100 I guess I expected much higher quality and not to get a used replacement!

I have ordered 2 of these in the past eight weeks as I had a tummy tuck and need to wear compression all the time. This garment is comfortable and provides good support and compression. It does not roll down and the legs are seamless enough that it can be worn under leggings. I would definitely recommend this garment for anyone recovering from any abdominal surgery that requires compression. It also washes well and keeps its shape. I wear it 12-18 hours a day and it’s very comfortable.

These were comfortable, like leggings- but they did little as far as needed compression, which is what I needed post surgery. My much less expensive spanx were much more effective. I used the measurements suggested.

Waist is a little tight . Had to size up 1 size. Holds in proper body area. Liked it.
