This was the best present for my Father on ?Christmas, he read under street lights as waits on me in grocery stores and other appointments in the dark sometimes, it definitely will give him a park anywhere feeling now!!! It works has two different regular light setting lighter and brighter, a third one offers him a blue light too, it does not have four settings but the difference in light color make up for this faux pa on the advertisement!!! It is and was the perfect gift for my father, also reminded him would have been a great gift for my Mother whom passed now to read outside on the porch as she soo frequently did in the past!!! Thank you for a simple cheap gift in me for him, our limit for gifts was $10 and this was even less than that!!! A+++++ communication after was a great by seller too!!! I’m an avid Kindle reader and hate back lighting. Finding the “perfect” light for night reading has been a challenge. Some too big, some too small, until this one-just right!!! At first I thought “cheap junk” when I opened the package. And I’m sure it is cheap to manufacture BUT....... perfect light for a reasonable price. The right amount of light to cover the whole screen, different levels and color of light, no glare and light weight and secure. Let’s just hope it lasts for a while!

I love this reading light. It is bright enough, but not so bright that it would disturb someone sleeping next to you. It charges pretty fast and lasts a pretty long time charged. The only thing I could say is that it has no instructions on how to charge it and it took me sometime to figure it out. I would definitely recommend this to any bookworm like me who love reading before bedtime!!Update: After using this reading light for several months, I became disappointed with it because when I tried to attach it the a book with would fall of because the clip to hold it didn’t hold right. Everything with it is fine, as long as you can deal with reattaching the light several times during your ready.

The lamp functioned well in terms of light quality and adjusting the position. Our lamp got moved around quite a bit and we found out after several months that the cheap strain relief for the power cord that attached to the foot was not up to the task. The wires lost continuity internally and that caused the light to flicker with the slightest bump. We were able to fix ours by cutting into it and soldering the wires back together, but not everybody has the willingness or ability to do that. You should be okay if you don't move your lamp very much, but otherwise be aware that this problem will likely cause a big problem in the future.

I consider this a must have if you want to unwind at night reading a book but don't want to light up the room with a lamp. I love that there are different settings and that you can adjust the brightness. Charging is a snap and it lasts for a while. It holds securely onto the book and is flexible, which is great. I'm extremely satisfied with this light.

This version doesn't have a battery and there is nothing to "charge". The correct description is "powered by" USB or AC adapter. The tiny red LED just indicates that it's getting power. I have a wall outlet where this is used so that's OK. What I like most about this light are the well designed control switches - simple & easy to use; I really dislike the lights with complicated tap-to-adjust controls. This is also a good looking stylish light.

I bought this to clip on to my laptop for direct light onto the keyboard. It works great, although the clip is not very tight, but I have it wedged between the laptop and the wall, so it stays in place. So far, so good. For the money, it was worth it.

The light was a great value for like 10 bucks it’s vary bright for how small and low power it is does get a little warm with long use on high light but if yours melts might have gotten a faulty one which really is a bummer but for it being a product that works as advertised it fills all notes cord is pretty long and the switch’s are near the base of the light so worked great for my set up also metal why did this review thing want me to talk about brightness thickness and value what’s thickness
