Tree Hut Skincare Exfoliating Mud Mask, Detoxifying Charcoal, 2.9 Ounce

I love this mud mask and I’ve used a few over my 60+ years! It does not bother my super sensitive skin and I use it several times weekly. It helps keep my skin clean and clear. I will say that I’m not sure if the little bit of course exfoliator really helps but it doesn’t hurt. There’s a learning curve with these mud masks so don’t give up! Use a nice toner and moisturizer afterwards.

Highly recommend. Curved sides keep cords from tangling and so thankful for the sun ports bc my kids keep stealing my cubes!

I generally like this mask. It gives that tightened up pore look that I want from a clay mask. It wipes off with not too much effort. And the price point is great.It is a little drying. This is probably a great acne mask, but that isn't a current concern for me.I was concerned by a comment about glycolic acids and retinols. I've used both for years (10+). Without fail, I use The Ordinary's 5% retinol in squalane daily. I use acids a bit more intermittently, but an AHA wash or a lactic acid serum goes on my face once a week or so. But not concerned enough not to put it on my face. :) This mask caused no additional irritation, even though it has BHA (in the form of salicylic acid). Proceed with caution, of course, but for acclimated skin it can work.

I was looking for a mask that I could use once or twice a week, and stumbled on the Tree Hut brand. I'd never heard of this brand before, and decided to take a chance. So glad that I did! This mask has charcoal in it to absorb impurities from the skin. It is lightly exfoliating - not at all overwhelming. The scent is clean and not overpowering.The mask goes on easily. There is no tugging or pulling on the skin. Once the mask is dry - about 30 minutes - it easily rinses off. It leaves my skin feeling so nice! Top it off with night time moisturizer and my skin feels beautiful the next the morning! This makes me feel as though I'm being pampered - love it!
