Dad's old bird!
My late father in-law flew the P-38 in WWII and later went on to be an instructor. When he passed, one of the things that I asked my wife to retrieve from his property was his P-38 spinner. The Colorado seasons took its toll on the fabric, so I ordered another one. Love it! Spend the Winters in the shed though.

Gift to WW II Pilot
This went over great ! WW II Pilot who flew these was very appreciative... Set it up for him on Halloween, but he didn't want to keep it in his front yard overnight, just in case "tricksters" or gremlins might might be out that night. Brought tears to his eyes...

This was a gift...
I have not seen it assembled yet but I have had experience with this brand of spinners before so I am confident it will be as nice as the previous ones.I inspected the package when getting it and it looked like all the parts were there. The colors were vibrant and the UV-protected material seemed as sturdy as the others I've assembled before.I'm really looking forward to visiting the person I gave this to and seeing the assembled product. They were very grateful and really appreciated a warplane version of this spinner.
