Wanted

A short little manga series that had a lot of potential but unfortunately got shelved due to her Vampire Knight series going on for 19 volumes (but that is amazing as well!).The story starts out about a girl who lost her love to a pirate and goes on to find the pirate who kidnapped her love. She finds out that the pirate captain is actually her love and she stays on the ship to be with him. They also run into problems with the navy, of course, and they have to stay out of trouble.The art, as always, is tremendously beautiful. I love Matsuri Hino's art in all of her work, and this story does not disappoint. I really like the pictures in between chapters as she puts in so detail to what she puts in each drawing. Not only is the drawing beautiful, but the colors are great as well. For example:The characters are pretty interesting, I just wished that Luce wouldn't treat Arto like a little girl, but it is understandable as she is on a boat with a bunch of pirates. As I said, it ends short and there should be more to the story. If you love pirates though, this is a great short and will make you smile.Also, there is a short story at the end called Spring Cherry Blossoms that is also cute and heartwarming. If you love Vampire Knight, definitely check this out.I give this manga a 5/5 as it wasn't the story's fault that it got cancelled or not finished as she had prior obligations. It's beautiful, cute, and sweet and I never wanted to put the manga down.

My first Matsuri Hino manga. Cute and charmingly romantic. It ends a bit abruptly so I hope that just means there are more volumes to come. After reading her inspiration for these characters, I read her other manga, MeruPuri. Fun times! Would recommend this one to see if you like her art style. If you do, I definitely recommend MeruPuri.

The art is absolutely beautiful... I wish there was more then just one book. It sits comfortably next to my Vampire Knight Chronicles. :) <3

As for some Shojo Beat manga, Wanted is sweetness. It has a bit of curiosity thrown in because you're not exactly sure what is going to happen. It is a great story in my opinion and the art work is excellent.

great condition, fun read :) Hino's art is gorgeous as always, and this is a single book series, so there aren't any continuations to worry about having to collect.

Hino's artwork is lovely, and this short, rather crazy story shows off this. As a big fan of Vampire Knight, I wanted another book that wouldn't be too silly and predictable like a lot of other short manga and it's not too rose tinted and soppy either. Matsuri Hino doesn't just bunch a few ideas together and create lots of artwork for it then call it a story, she takes time to plan it out and make sure it makes sense. I think this is part of the success of all her manga.I would recommend it to keep you entertained during the long wait for the next Vampire Knight. ;)

Bellissimi i disegni, come in Meru Puri, ma storia inconsistente, poco plausibile e personaggi abbastanta vacui. Forse la storia era da sviluppare in più volumi. Bellissimo invece il capitolo extra: vale la pena comprare questo volume solo per quello.

Es un manga autoconclusivo, muy al estilo de Matsuri Hino con elementos mágicos y romances complicados por circunstancias. Si te gustó el manga de Ca-ptive Heart, este tambián te va a gustar.
