A 9 yr old who just wants to share and give to others
9 year old Damian (Alex Etel) and his 12 year old brother Anthony (Lewis Owen McGibbon) find a sack full of money from a train robbery. Anthony is an entrepreneur and wants to invest the cash in real estate to increase his portfolio along with buying luxury goods. Damian however is a special kid who loves saints. He sees visions of them all the time which influences him to want to give away his money to the poor and needy. The appearance of the saints is funny. Damian says their name and the years they were alive before talking to them. It’s symbolic of Damian’s conscience. He’s also cute when he asks random people whether they’re poor because he wants to give them money. That’s the main message about sharing along with another about how large amounts of money can cause problems.

"Money's Just a Thing...and Things Change."
This film really took me by surprise. It took me a while to actually watch it but when I did it really left an impression. This is a very sweet film. I use the word sweet in an endearing sense. I don't want to spoil the film for anyone so I'll just say the heart and soul of the main character, Damian, is what really struck me. This film has, at it's core, a strong sense of humanity and passion. The characters are very well played by the actors, and Danny Boyle has directed it in such a way that it really captures the attention. The whole creation is brilliantly written, directed, and brought to life by wonderful actors; especially the young lads who played the two brothers, Damian and Anthony. I highly recommend this film for both families and anyone looking for a good experience. Happy Viewing!

Fable about Money and Charity
Defying the cynical zeitgeist of modern Hollywood, this British entry tells the tale of a little boy Damian who, having lost his mother, copes by fantasizing about saints and martyrs. These imaginary companions give him wisdom and solace as he grieves his mother's death and deals with an older brother who, loving money and business, is his opposite. A strange occurance, a bundle of millions seemingly from heaven, drops into Damian's lap and here the plot begins. The rest of the film is Damian's struggle to give the money to the poor in the face of the world's evil love for money. For Damian, the only way to deal with suffering and evil in the world in general and the death of his mother specifically is by following the edict to love your brother and give all that you have to the poor. His feverish faith in this principle gets him into trouble in a fable about greed and charity. Some of the plot points are hard to follow and the thick British accents require one to put English subtitles on the DVD format, but other than that it's a fairly quickly-paced film. I was puzzled, however, by the shifts in tone. At times its tone is sweet like a young adult film; other times it is more edgey with hip rock music and flashbacks like cuts from the masterpiece film Sexy Beast. People who like films about the triumph of the human heart will also like Whale Rider and You Can Count on Me.

Peace of mind while boating and fishing!
I've been looking for a waterproof case for my iPhone 6s+. I want to be able to take photos with my phone while boating and fishing. This case comes with a very user friendly design as well as a lanyard to attach the case to your bag or wear around your neck. The clamps that keep the case closed are very sturdy and easy to use.Once I placed my phone inside of the case I could clearly see my screen and the touch screen functioned great. However, using the side buttons (power and volume) was cumbersome due to the design of this waterproof case. Maybe it is the price you pay for knowing your phone will stay dry. Also, in order to use the camera I had to place the phone upside down so the case didn't block the cameras on my phone.Overall, I think this is a great buy. You will be able to have peace of mind about your phone while doing all the amazing water adventures you want!

This belongs in ur Christmas "Open ME FIRST."
I first saw this film on my satellite TV. I was mesmorized. I had never seen anything like this before. I think it's a great family movie.I purchased a whole bunch of DVD's of this movie and gave them out at work as Christmas presents. I warned each and every person that this movie starts off very slow and it seems like it's going nowhere but stay with it. Half-way thru, it gets going and it will take ur heart. The reaction that I got back was what I expected. Most men and women alike said the same thing. At first, they wondered, what the f**k is this? It was soooo slow. "But then I got interested. And at the end, I shed a tear".This movie is all about what does Christmas REALLY mean after all? Money, things, or love and family. You'll see. This is a heart warming surprise thats little known to the public. Not musshy but fun and even funny at times but in the end, a lesson about life that adults and teens and even little ones can share. It's about caring about one another and not about money.I gave this movie 5 stars as a family movie, you won't do any better.

Surpising !
Millions is a wonderful movie that presents a little boy's faith in God and how his faith affects others. I watched it first without the grandkids, and while it was sweet, I thought it might be a bit over their heads. The movie is set in Manchester England and the accents are very heavy. I was afraid the kids would have a hard time understanding, but they caught on faster than I did. The cinematography was unusual but seemed to contribute to the children's enjoyment. All watched the entire movie with rapt attention. (this a really saying something, because they normally don't sit still that long). At the end they where all sitting there with mouths open in astonishment. They are 7, 10 and 12. All loved it and wanted to watch it two more times that weekend! The next week they wanted to watch it again. It is clean and full of valuable lessons. It made real how the saints help us. Recommended especially for Orthodox and Roman Catholic families.Mom's should watch first because of the scary villain guy and to tiny parts that may cause concern.

Ottimo, come sempre, James Nesbitt
