Initially good to start, but not built for the long run
Purchased these mats to cover our hard wood floors for a toddler. Initially the mats were great. Thicker than most children’s mats, and the design makes you forget they are even there. The only problem is the wood design is printed on a thin layer of plastic that can separate from the mat itself. My son has now learned to peel off the plastic (and in true toddle fashion, it goes straight to the mouth). The plastic started peeling after 3 month give or take, a little corner here, a bubble in the middle there. Attached is a picture of the mats now.

Perfect for our in-home dance studio
I did a lot of research to find the best fit for my needs and this is the solution. I needed to cover an 8x10 concrete space in the garage with something that would soften the surface enough for dancing but not be too spongy while looking nice. So far this does the trick. I saw some reviews of similar products that the wood grain print had peeled off. I will give this product an updated review if anything like that happens. It appears to be good quality. The reason I did not give the full 5 stars is there is a strong chemical smell that is pretty bad. I am hoping with time it will air out. Had to wash my hands after putting it together because I felt like I had chemy residue on my hands (could be a delusion from the fumes tho;) because of this, I would not recommend this type of flooring for children's spaces. I will be washing the surface and hope the off gassing us not slowly killing me. Other than that i Really do love my new dance studio!!! See pics for look and thickness.Oh, also there were a ton of extra end pieces. Seeing as specific dimensions were ordered it seems wasteful.

Discolors Fast in Sunlight!
I really loved this flooring when freshly installed. It's a comfortable warm spot for my kids to play on our otherwise cold basement floor, and at first it looked lovely. Sadly, within 90 days it was discolored from natural sunlight coming in our windows. Since I bought this design specifically for it's appearance over a more plain tile set, I felt that it was important to take some pictures and leave a review for future buyers. These pictures are taken at 5 months post-installment. The picture where the flooring still looks nice is right up against the wall where no light hits it. The rest is yellowed with pink seams. The only way I can recommend this flooring would be for a room with no windows. :/

Comfy flooring but discolored over time.
Love the quality and comfort of this flooring. We use it in our boys playroom and it’s been great! My only issue is it is less than a year old and all the borders of the tiles are turning red. This room gets natural sunlight but no direct sun. The company said this is part of the normal wear and tear. Unfortunately I bought this flooring for a nice look and now it’s not looking so great. But beside the physical appearance, it is holding up nicely!

... a concrete basement floor and the effect is both beautiful and comfortable
We used this on a concrete basement floor and the effect is both beautiful and comfortable. The basement now feels like a room and the kids have a more usable play space. Easiest room makeover ever.

Best value compared to very similar expensive products in the market.
LOVE these tiles. We have had them for almost a year. We converted our formal dining into a playroom when our little was 10 months old and started walking. This floor was soft enough when she fell that it took any worry away from me and it was the perfect surface for her to crawl and practice walking and falling. It is more of a smooth surface, so bare feet worked better to avoid falls. Like other reviewers commented, these rules to get discolored with time. I was ok with that because we are using them for a playroom and not a formal room. The edges of each “puzzle piece” started changing color after a few months, and the rest of the surface started loosing color shortly after. I have attached pictures of a corner where I placed a blanket that stayed in place for months and was not affected by the sun light. Sun light is especially bad for these tiles. Again, we found these tiles to be of great value for what we wanted them compared to other extremely expensive options for playrooms, but I would not recommend them for anything other than playroom and workout areas.

Easy to cut to fit an non rectangular space
We bought this to make a cushioned floor for our motorhome. It was easy to lay down and easy to cut to fit around things (I used an Exacto knife with a new blade). In addition to looking good this makes our motorome a bit quieter when driving and very comfortable to walk around in. We really like the pattern and our dogs like sleeping on it. If you have a big dog (100 pounds), make sure his nails are trimmed or he will leave small holes in the top of the tiles. This did not surprise me as I always assumed that these tiles were not designed, nor intended to be used as a floor for large dogs.

good padding - pattern not what I hoped
we ordered the padded tiles with a gray, simulated wood plank flooring and the 'wood plank cut lines' didn't repeat like I hoped or expected. I expected there to be a repeating pattern since I figured this was manufactured in a continuous running product and die stamped for the interlocking. We put the padded flooring in our basement laundry room directly on the concrete floor. If there is a water spill or something that gets under the foam tiles, they easily pull up and go back down without issue. When the product first arrived, I just started opening the packages of tiles and intermixing them together. Then as we put them on the floor, my wife and I were trying to match up the 'planking' on adjacent tiles. We then took an unopened pack to another part of the house and found there is no 'plank repeat' like we hoped there might be. So even though the top finish looks like wood plank, it doesn't matter how you put them on the floor (unless you turn the plank to run sideways to the tile next to it).Next time we might not buy a wood style finish so we don't have to look at the planking arrangement
