I Was Never Broken

Oh my goodness where do I start? I've been following Sara since twitter days. I've never purchased a book for the simple fact that I am not a reader. I can't remember the last time I voluntarily sat down and read a book... maybe middle school (I'm 27)?? Through social media I've always connected to Sara's content, so for my birthday I decided to gift myself a book published and written by her.. I am shocked with how quickly I read through it for one, but the context is SO relatable. As I'm going through the book, I'm reliving my past too. It's amazing how relatable the words were. I felt like I was reading in first person.. of myself.. not of her. 10/10 recommend.

I stumbled upon this book on a social media page for the author of the book and was blown away at the accuracy and uncanny resemblance to my very own life and experience with what we all understand to be and call it "love". She so eloquently writes her emotions and takes the words I could never muster my own brain up to blurt out, and writes them with her heart. I cant wait to read more of her books in this series and the rest of her collection 😁

The writer opens her heart up and shares her deepest stories. So very relatable and easy to read. Just lovely.

I like that it’s a quick read especially for someone who barely has time to stop and pick up a book.

I purchased this beautiful beautiful book a few weeks ago, and sat down excited to read it and due to its sheer love, honesty, sincerity and pure emotion I almost find it hard to read much of it in one go. And I mean that as the sincerest form of praise; I feel so deeply connected to it that so much of it makes me want to cry and its so potently written and so tenderly honest that I also just want to savour it for as long as I can instead of blasting through it all in one night.Beautiful. The author has a courageous heart to be willing to share her most tender thoughts with us all. Makes me feel less alone x

I like it
