2ND UPDATE: LAVIEW GOT IN TOUCH WITH ME. WHEN I SAY THEY GOT IN TOUCH WITH ME , THEY RELENTLESSLY CONTACTED ME UNTIL I RESPONDED LOL. THEY MADE SURE TO FIX THE ISSUE WITHOUT COST BUT ENSURED AND CHECKUP UP ON MY DELIVERY. I ONLY HOOKED UP ONE CAMERA AS I DID BUY OTHER CAMERAS TO REPLACE MY ORIGINAL PURCHASE I STILL WOULD ABSOLTELY RECOMMEND THESE CAMERAS. SUPERB CUSTOMER SERVICE AND I CAN'T SAY ANYTHING MORE! THANKS!UPDATE*****Cameras are constantly in need of a reset. If you've mounted these it just gets annoying and frustrating to habitually have to manually fix the issue. Cameras should come back with online without having to reset. Also there isn't any kind of customer service number to get aid. They lied about chat support as you are required to email and wait for a reply.This sucks because I was digging the cameras until they started bugging out on me. Settled on returning these and finding something else. Hopefully with a better design as I hate how the power cord goes into the base and how esp the SD card is under the lens I guess to prevent you taking it out? Very idiotic design on the those fronts.I want to say first that one con that I really grinds my gears is how they have the power cable going into the base. It's a ridiculous tiny space to try to get your charging cable into. Outside of that I have very few complaints about these cameras and their functions.FirstYou can view your cameras from your phone from outside your wifi network.App is not as bad as people made it out to be. Actually not too bad at all.You can set them up and remove them to the place of your liking without having to reset anything!They come with 32gb sd cards already installed.Cameras will follow you around your place of installation. (like a creepy robot watching you, in a good way lol)I did not use the mounts but I will post them tonight so they can remain stable and secure.Cameras were absolutely easy to set up and get on the nework.Make sure to update the cameras firmware/software.Easy to add more cameras without harming your setup.When in day time the cameras are stunning 1080 p quality.You can maneuver the cameras also while in the app.You can talk through the cameras as well!I have mine linked with Google and Alexa and they work wonderfully through those apps.ConsThe night vision leaves a little to be desired as ppl esp darker toned ppl show up kind of blurry. Not as sharp as what I am used to. Still not a deal breaker what so ever.Very small cameras like really small!Power cord could be a bit longer. The cameras are so small and lightweight the cable may pull the camera down if it is not mounted.As I said the design of the base with the power cable was idiotic.I can't figure out how to add a static setup to these cameras but they work well for 2.4ghz wifi setup.All in all I greatly recommend these cameras. I bought another set for my Grandmother and Parents!

I bought 4 LaView Pan/Tilt Security cameras, which I have been using for eight months now . I am extremely happy with my cameras.I have had two issues so far, both has been resolved.The first issues was the cameras would go off line occasionally, to get them back on line ,I would Unplug them from the power supply and reconnect them. After a few recurrences of this, I decided to put a Tan Tan plug between the Cameras and the power supply, so I could remotely switch the cameras off and then on again, and everything would be fine again.The second challenge I had was , after changing my internet modem , I had to reset my cameras. Mistakenly I thought the opening at the top of the camera was for resetthing the cameras.I emailed LaView and got the fastest response possible, after two emails I was sent a video with exactly where the opening was at the lower end of the camera.I should point out , you have to rotate the camera ... using a little force.... to rotate the camera upwards to expose the orifice to the reset button.I can't thank Mila enough for the prompt response, the follow up and precise instructions.Thanks again Mila.

LaView agent Freya contacted me immediately after seeing this review and apologized for the situation with the camera. She volunteered to send a replacement camera for my troubles and another gift to maintain customer loyalty. I have used LAView cameras for the past four years without any issues and am currently using the one below reliably. LA View team should be commended for their customer focus and their actions certainly have established a brand loyalty for me going forward. I will continue to recommend their products and support infrastructure based on my experience with their customer service department.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Hello, upon receipt of my LAView R3 PT Wifi Security Camera (I already have two exactly like it), I unboxed what appeared to be a never opened box. When removing the camera I noticed a rattling sound within it which sounded like something was loose inside that should not have been. I configured for WiFI access and with exception of vertical up/down control being "sticky" and "slow" the camera appeared to function. I decided to investigate the rattling problematic up/down control myself by removig the small screw on the bottom, popping both halfs off the camera revealing the up/down vertical control geared assembly. By shaking the assembly slightly, I noted a loose screw ot fastened within the assembly. I carefully rotated the assembly to let the loose screw fall out from the up/down gear hole to stop the iternal rattling. i reassembled the sides and the bottom screw and although the up/down control functioed with still a little hesitation/jerkiness it was good enough for my needs.Note customers should not have to disassemble and correct manufacturing/assembly issues with your products received out of the box. We recommend you review assembly Quality Control processes that allow this product to be shipped. Thank you.
