Comfier
The massage chair I tried is a game-changer for relaxation and recovery. It offers customizable settings, including intensity, heat, and targeted massage zones, which cater to individual preferences. The comfier feature enhances comfort, while the various modes, like shiatsu and rolling, provide a professional spa-like experience at home. It’s well-built and easy to operate. Although it’s an investment, the quality and stress relief it delivers make it worth every penny. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind or alleviate muscle tension.

Excellent investment. Highly recommended!
The Comfier Shiatsu Back Massager with Heat has been an absolute lifesaver for my daily relaxation and stress relief. This deep tissue kneading massage chair is incredibly versatile, fitting perfectly on my office chair, recliner, or even the floor. The shiatsu massage nodes mimic the hands of a professional masseuse, providing a deep, soothing kneading action that targets every inch of my back, from the shoulders down to the lower back. The added heat function is a game-changer, helping to loosen tight muscles and improve blood circulation, which is especially beneficial after long hours at my desk. What I love most about this massager is its customizable settings. With adjustable intensity levels and multiple massage modes, I can tailor the experience to my needs, whether I want a gentle relaxation or a more intense deep tissue massage. The portable design makes it easy to use at home or in the office, and the soft, breathable material ensures comfort during extended sessions. As a gift, this massager is a thoughtful and practical choice for anyone, regardless of gender. It’s become an essential part of my daily routine, helping me unwind and recharge. A Must-Have for Back Relief!
I’ve been using the COMFIER Shiatsu Back Massager with Heat for 2 years now, and I’m beyond impressed! This massager offers an incredible combination of deep tissue kneading and soothing heat, making it perfect for anyone dealing with muscle tension or back pain. The deep tissue kneading feels amazing—it's strong enough to target stubborn knots in my back but also adjustable if I want something gentler. The heat function is a great bonus, providing just the right amount of warmth to relax my muscles even more. Whether it’s from sitting all day or general muscle tightness, this massager gets the job done.I also love how easy it is to use. The remote control is simple, and I can quickly switch between settings to customize the massage. The memory foam cushion is comfortable, making it perfect for longer sessions. If you're looking for a high-quality, affordable solution for back pain or muscle relief, this is it. Highly recommend!

Almost perfect
Negatives (because we all know you're looking for drawbacks when you hit the review section!)- The massage area is limited- I'm only 5'2", and it isn't long enough to go all the way to my shoulders and all the way to my lower back. I can choose one or the other by adjusting the seat position behind me, but I can't enjoy both in one massage. I imagine therefore that if you're 5'6" or over, the rollers will barely reach the points of your shoulder blades. The seat height absolutely needs to be about 6" longer.- When the rollers hit the bottom or the top of the massage area- which if you're using the spot massage, can only be couple of inches, or for the full back massage, is from roughly small of back to the sticky-out bits of your shoulder blades- they pause for half a second or so. Doesn't sound like a lot, but it's definitely an unwelcome interruption, particularly when you're using spot massage- the stopping and starting isn't particularly relaxing, in fact, it's rather annoying! It'd be nice if either the motor continued running in the same direction for another up and down sweep, or the motor direction switch was instantaneous. The motor changes direction when it's going up compared to going down, and I think it would actually be nice if it stayed in one direction for a few sweeps and then switched, so you got a more varied with/against the grain sort of sensation.- You have to be seated in quite a specific way to get even pressure all the way up and down- otherwise you'll hardly feel it on your shoulder blades but when it hits your lower back it's like being kneed. This may be quite difficult for people with spinal curvatures or particularly bad posture, but on the other hand, may help people improve their posture by forcing you to sit in a particular position- I mention it mainly as I'm aware some people don't have the luxury of being able to straighten and flex their spines at will! Once I had found the comfortable position, it was perfect all the way up and down (except for not quite reaching the top)- but prior to that, it was very uncomfortable on the lower back!- The seat seems to have hard lumps in it (I'm not sure why- the vibration doesn't require the same ball rotation as the top part!) so if you use the massager in a hard chair rather than on a cushion it's incredibly uncomfortable with lumpy bits sticking into your bum bones (and mine is rather well padded!). It's absolutely fine on a thicker cushion or sofa, but on a carpeted floor, was like sitting on a bag of tennis balls.Positives:- The massage, once you get your position, is lovely. I like a firm massage and I'm actually still using the cushion pads- I think it'd be quite painful (not in a good way) without them. However, this is great if you have built in padding of your own as you can still benefit from the massage :)- I didn't think I would like the heat function, but actually, it's very nice indeed, like hand-warmth (through the padding, anyway. I'm not sure if it might be too warm without it.).- You can change the intensity (which seems to be the speed) and prevent the seat from vibrating which means a good customised massage.Overall- highly recommended if you have nobody to ease your aches and pains like me, or if your partner is fed up with doing it :) The massage is wonderful- a lot like going for a professional massage, except you can watch the telly and have a nice snack at the same time :) I'm enjoying mine so much I may end up buying one for someone for christmas :D

Uncomfortable
Originally bought this product as an alternative to an office chair with built in massage function, due to the lower cost and seemingly improved massage function. The seat is uncomfortable, even on the sofa and is very bulky. It just sits around my house really. The massage is okay, but not excellent.I'd recommend looking elsewhere for a massager.
