Reading Women Evolve felt like reading pieces of my own story. Like Sarah, I came from a challenging background—raised by parents who struggled with addiction, emancipated at 16, pregnant at 14, and a mother of two by 16. I graduated high school by the grace of God, pushing through overwhelming adversity, stigmas, and a world that constantly told me I wouldn’t make it.My dream was always to become an attorney, but life had other plans. I ended up working in healthcare, in and out, for years. I wrestled with going back to nursing school—fear and doubt always followed me, especially coming from a family where education, goals, and ambition weren’t part of the norm. I often felt like the odd one out, the only one out of seven siblings with this deep hunger for more.But this book planted a seed. Sarah’s words reminded me that sometimes your calling finds you even when you’ve tried to run from it. As I turned the last page, I felt a clarity I hadn’t known before. I’m choosing to answer that call and go back to nursing school—not just because it’s what I’ve done before, but because I now see it as purpose. I thank God that my heart was open and tender enough to receive that revelation.To Sarah: thank you for being transparent, courageous, and obedient to your calling. Your book is a gift. And to any woman reading this: I pray for you. I pray that the seeds God has placed in your heart will grow, that you walk boldly in your purpose, and that you reach your full potential. I cannot even begin to explain how timely this book was🥴 I mean I literally cried throughout the entire book! It was seriously like God was talking straight to me and used this amazing powerful woman of God to be the messenger. I have already been recommending the book, and would love to even do a book club on it for other woman😃 I don’t even believe I’m doing justice right now, by writing this review. I wish I could do a video so you can hear my excitement and feel all of the emotion behind it🤗 I am so full of Hope, Love, Compassion, Joy, Wisdom, Relief, Understanding, and so much more🙌🏼 Pastor Sarah has literally lit a fire 🔥 under my bee-hind‼️ I now understand myself better, I realize I’m not crazy, and now see why God has chosen me. I also see why I have been misunderstood for so long. This was a great book. I really enjoyed. Very Uplifting and Motivational. A must Read. One i will red again.

Inspiring.

If you've ever been insecure and have been your biggest critic then I guarantee that this book will fill your spiritual vessel and encourage you while you pull together the brick and mortar to rebuild your life. The delivery came within the expected time frame and upon opening the package and inspecting the book the quality and colors were impeccable and definitely worth the price. The book is hardcover as stated and the front illustrations hold a vibrant picture of the author-Sarah Jakes Roberts. She is to the fore of what seems to be the Garden of Eden. The fonts used were bold, vivid, and eye-catching, and upon reading "Break Up With Your Fears and Revolutionize Your Life" on the cover I felt instructed to do exactly that. The book gives insights into the story of Eve from another perspective. The perspective of being a victim rather than the villain we all grew to know her as. The book left me with a feeling of empathy and understanding that as a woman we have all been Eve in some instances. We've all made mistakes, we are all similar to Eve than we care to admit. This read tugged on my heart and forced me to forgive myself for mistakes I have made. It even forced me to forgive Eve. Can you imagine the weight she carried for disappointing and causing the fall of humanity? It reminded me that failure should not be the nucleus of my life. We should be focused on our purpose and the pursuit of what we were placed here on earth to become. My take away from the book was simply: The insecurities and mistakes don't change how God sees you and definitely don't lessen or change your purpose. "Your life's purpose doesn't change: it evolves."

This book is life changing. It feels like a friend when you don't feel like you have one. It's both insightful and practical for implementation. It's a book I believe every woman should read at least once but hopefully twice.
