I was extremely disappointed when Nespresso decided to quit making the XL 14 oz. (410 ml) pods. The only reason I purchased the Nespresso was for the 14 oz. cup of coffee so for them to discontinue the 14 oz. pods was more than upsetting. When they did, I broke down and went through my bag of to-be-recycled pods and cut all the 14 oz. open and emptied and washed them all in hot soapy water and rinsed them in boiling water. I then spent a month or more coming up with the perfect grind and amount to put in the empty pods to make it actually work in the Nespresso machine. This has been working great but the more I reuse and wash these Nespresso pods, the weaker they are getting. FINALLY, now there is a stainless steel pod that I can wash without worrying about denting it and without having to be extra gentle with it. I measured out the same amount for the aluminum pods I've been using and poured it into the stainless steel. For reference, it is 42.6 grams on my scale which includes the 29.3 grams that the stainless steel pod weighs. This pod worked perfectly the very first time and made a delicious cup of coffee. Also, if you have the Recaps tool holder and tamper kit, the tamper fits absolutely perfectly in this pod! I also find the 59 mm aluminum seals work the best. I have a Nespresso Vertuo by DeLonghi and it is a workhorse. I've had it for about 5 years and it's still going strong. I see that the next closest delivery date for these 410 ml stainless steel pods is December 7th so I've already ordered a second immediately before they disappear! I'm extremely happy to have these. I never have to buy another Nespresso pod again.

Made very well and heavy whis is the problem. It's easy to use with a reusable lid and does work. You can hear the machine struggle to get up to speed. Comes out great and I love the 14oz size which is no longer available from Nespresso.

I tried this several times to see if the issue was the same each use. The coffee was weaker than usual, so I changed up the amount of coffee I put in it, to see if any difference. The problem ended up being that the cup weighs too much for the machine to properly spin it. So, the brewing was not sufficient, and weakened the taste and color. I wanted to like this more, because other cups only have 8oz brewing. Even though this one processed more volume, the quality of the coffee was not good. I hope the manufacturer realizes this, and finds a way to fix the issue, because it would be nice. The cup itself is a nice stainless steel, but I desire a drinkable cup of coffee.

Very disappointed in this product. I had to give it a star, but it doesn’t deserve it. I was hoping it would work well and save me a ton of money buying nespresso’s expensive pods, but it made my machine make such a horrible noise, I hope I haven’t damaged it. What I’m doing now is emptying the pods and I bought a rubberized lid that pops onto the pod. It works great! Don’t waste your money

This product is made of high quality is seems. But when used with the recommended Nespresso machine it overheated the machine and I was unable to process the coffee.Had to switch to plastic casing which is working with no problems thus far .

They don't tell you you must purchase ongoing aluminum sticky tops to fill your own pods. They send you 4 only. And they can only be used once. Nespresso coffee machine is way to expensive to own and operate.

Lamentablemente después de muchos intentos logre que mi cafetera filtrará un poco de café, la verdad es la peor experiencia de mi vida, creo que las cafeteras Vertuo están hechas antipitateria, ademas la tapa de aluminio viene un poco mas grande que la cápsula y por lo tanto hay que cortarla porque si doblas el sobrante tapas el código de barras de la cápsula, en fin tire a la basura $700 para probar ya que Nespresso NO tiene cápsulas de 414 ml
