When purchasing a single ceiling tile, the shipping is considerably high due to the size of the box, however, with larger quantities the ratio of the shipping cost to the total amount is much smaller. Q: Could I use these in the bathroom where there is a lot of moisture and humidity?

I put them in my bathroom but not over the shower.

Q: can I hang these tiles on a wall?

You bet. I have them hanging on the underside of wall of a kitchen bar area. The painter that did the the job, glued them on and then used tiny little nails to secure them. Looks great!

Q: Are these tiles embossed? Meaning are they a flat or do they have carves and moulds in them?

They are moulded. Definitely not flat.
