Mexican Oregano | Aromatic Dried Herb | Ideal for Latin-American Recipes 1.5 oz.

I enjoy the aroma, the flavor, the packaging , the finished dishes that i have used this spice.I use it on many dishes and soups, not just Mexican food. Even so, the package lasts a while. i keep a glass jar with my seasonings and the rest waits in the fridge.

I'm fairly certain I already commented on this. The spice is a MUST HAVE if you like making your own chili powder. You cannot obtain authentic Mid-West chili from Italian Oregano. Unless you live in Southern Texas or own an expensive greenhouse, you're not going to grow Puerto Rican Oregano (At least I wasn't successful in over-wintering it). The container it came in and packaging was top notch!!! I HIGHLY recommend Burma Spice if you're looking for a gift idea, the sampler was a nice touch that they throw in for free (which also added nicely to my chili powder ;-) ).While viewing their site, I never knew there were that many different varieties of cinnamon either. I am an avid cooker, and if they keep adding to their list...I'm sure I'll own stock in the company by the time it's all said and done.The glass container was what originally sold me on using them. Those containers aren't cheap.

Pretty good, tasty, and there's plenty in the bag. The "Mexican Oregano" flavor that I was looking for is there, but not very strong. It almost tastes like a cross between Mexican and "regular" oregano, even though I know that's not the case. It just doesn't taste "enough" like Mexican Oregano. The flavor is good, however, so I am using it.

I love using the Mexican oregano. Smells amazing and fresh. Adds that extra to your dishes.

Fantastic product. Fragrant, flavorful and well packaged for freshness. I'll never go back to any other oregano except Mexican oregano. It's make a world of difference in food preparation!

I live in the North East now and this is the best and most economical Mexican oregano I’ve had since leaving the Southwest. I will definitely be ordering this again.

It is a must have for all homemade Mexican dishes. My local mega grocery chain doesn’t carry it in stock so the ‘Zon’ is my go to. Great aroma and flavor!

Not as strong of a flavor as Mediterranean oregano - Would not buy this again.
