For the price point, it hits all the markers for a good "anti-aging" product. With its thoughtful array of skin care ingredients, it provides both immediate benefit, and benefits that will take longer to engage. Here are the main ingredients that pop out to me, although other ingredients also play synergistically with the key hit players.-->Hyaluronic acid (HA) with forms that go beyond surface level to help the skin create its own HA and to deeply hydrate the skin. HA is a humectant. This is what helps soften the appearance of visible lines and wrinkles. So they don't actually go away, but they can seem to "disappear". Yay!... PS. The ingredient, "Tetradecyl Aminobutyroylvalylaminobutyric Urea Trifluoroacetate" helps boost effectiveness of hyaluronic acid.-->Anti-oxidants (A, E, CoQ10) to help manage day to day environmental stressors. As we age, our skin makes less, so it is necesssary to use products that help us neutralize damaging free radicals.--> In addition, VITAMIN A is also what we know as Retinyl Palmitate. So while it is an anti oxidant, it is also a gentle exfoliator. It is part of the retinoid/retinol family and happens to be the most gentle, making it suitable retinol product for sensitive skin. So gentle it can be used daily-- well, preferably nightly. BECAUSE, retinol can make skin extra sensitive to the sun. So either use this at night, or if you plan to use it during the day, be sure to wear SPF. I trust that you are all wearing SPF anyway, because that is the #1 way to help take care of skin. Even though it is the most gentle form of retinol (and appears further down the list of ingredients) be mindful of layering it with other aha/bhas as it may increase potential for irritation.-->Colloidal Gold- boosts radiance (immediate effect, love it), is also an anti-oxidant, and it can help prevent collagen loss & elastin. Maintain collagen is vital to health and happiness of skin. It is truly what gives us smooth, plump, youthful look, As we lose collagen, we lose elasticity, we are more apt to sag or just look gaunt. So after washing, pat two pumps of product onto face (neck & chest), then wait 5 minutes before layering anything else on. I like the smooth texture, the dewy moist feel, and the light scent that dissipates. It has a faint vanilla-esque aroma. I see lavender and vanillin listed in the ingredients. This may be what is imparting that scent. While either can be a fragrance, they also being their own skin care benefits. Both Lavender and Vanillin can help to slow down signs of ageing like fine lines, wrinkles and age spots.Has a light beige color from the addition of caramel coloring.I forgot how much I love products that use colloidal gold. Besides all the long term benefits, the immediate radiance boost it provides my skin is glorious. I found this especially helpful a couple years ago as I began to learn about skin care and what works well with my skin. It was just something I could put on my skin and it immediately looked healthier and vibrant. No make up needed. Then I had just gotten away from it, then to using it just when I went out, then 2020 hit, and no one went out.. and just the other day I found the last little scoop of my old colloidal gold containing cream and threw it out. Thankfully this product has that ingredient, and once again I am pleased with the instant radiant boost to my complexion. However, this time around (after really upping my skin care game) it is less noticeable but in a good way. My skin has improved that much because of products that contain many of same ingredients as this. THIS is a good product. Often, skin care is trial and error. Even so, I have gotten to know what to look for that helps my skin. I think it is worth the try.

I love this Hylastra Gold by Purity Products so much! One to two pumps is plenty to cover my entire face and some of my decollétage, so this bottle will last quite awhile, although not as long as I would like it to, considering how much of a treat this product is.The lotion is creamy, somewhat runny and whitish, and absorbs smoothly and quickly into the skin. I have very sensitive skin, and this lotion does not sting, burn or itch after application, but rather the opposite. My skin looks refreshed, rejuvenated and more youthful every time I apply this product, and feels just as good as it looks. My wrinkles are visibly smoothed, and my pores look smaller after some time using this lotion. I am not someone who is usually drawn to scented facial skin products, but this one has a beautiful perfumey lavender scent, and it is so wonderful, even my husband notices and tells me how good I smell whenever I use the lotion, without realizing it isn't a perfume or spray I've applied. It is not overpowering to me because lavender is such a calming scent, but if you don't really like lavender, this might be too much for your senses.I appreciate that this lotion works for both morning and nighttime application, which makes it perfect to take along during travel, so that I only need one product when away from home, vs two for each day. It is packaged in a beautiful glass bottle with a high functioning pump that doesn't waste any product, and is capped by a metal lid.Unfortunately this product is a bit too pricey for me to keep up as a daily regimen, but I hope to receive it as a gift from my husband every so often, or save some spending money to treat myself once in a lomg while. If you are able to splurge on a special treat for your skin and senses, or want to give a luxurious gift to your spouse or friend, I really recommend this to you.

this is a good serum. i rotate it out with my other serums depending on my skin’s current needs and use this more often than i thought i would. i’m not sure i’ll get this again for $60 because i need more bang for my buck at that price range, but overall it’s a good serum if your wallet doesn’t mind the damage. i have sensitive skin and didn’t have any negative reactions. i don’t find it as exceptional as the others who’ve reviewed this but it’s a decent serum! this would be a nice gift if the recipient cares about skincare like me. it’s one of those products that’s nice to get but don’t want to spend my own money to get kind of serum and i do drop serious cash on serums i find super amazing; this just didn’t make that cut. but it’s good for what it is. it applies on well and smoothly and absorbs without leaving you feeling greasy.
