Men's Winter Thicken Parka Jacket Casual Military Warm Coat with Removable Hood

Mostly in the affordable range for price. Not too expensive. Looks really good. It's very comfortable and very warm. That being said, it's on the heavy side and feels heavy, but it's like wearing a body pillow. It's not water resistant at all, so don't wear it in the rain. I bought a men's XL thinking it would be big enough (5'9" 240lbs athletic build), and it fits, but I could have gone with a XXL. The XL does get a little tight in the shoulders and across the chest when trying to go through certain motions. The cuffs have elastic in them so they stay at your wrists. Only two complaints I have is that the zipper is really tough to get a hold of (like you go to pull the left and right side together and it curls up, but maybe getting a size bigger would fix that), and the zipper, when zipped up, does let a lot of air in. You can feel it when it's a cold breeze.

There are lots of jackets out there and this one fit all my criteria. 1. Has to be warm (X) 2. Has to be outdoor rugged (X) 3. Long or Parka style (X) 4. Have zipper with button option to keep closed while sitting and moving around comfortably unzipped (X) 5. Pockets for tools (X) 6. Have removable hood (X). 7. Cost effective (X).Nice dark olive color. Soft inside and out not like not cold, slippery nylon. I bought this as a work jacket because I have a very active job that requires a lot of movement and changing vehicles often. During normal work I can keep it zipped but since it is a longer, parka type I can't sit comfortably with it zipped, SO the big selling point was it had a button up option so I can have the top half buttoned and still sit comfortable. No other jacket has this option in. this style. I also have to work in tight spaces sometimes so being able to quickly remove the hood is a necessary option also. I have worn this jacket everyday for the last few weeks and am very pleased so far.

First, plain and simple, this is the coat I waited my whole life to find!Second, there are cheaper options but they are those puffy coats and I think they look silly and ridiculous and in a couple of years they will go out of style, while this more expensive coat will still be in fashion decades from now.The good:I have been looking for a coat like this all of my life. Seriously! It checks all my most important boxes. Enough pockets, long, thick, heavy, insulated, comfortable and above all warm. Yes, yes and YES!The bad:The hood Is great because it unzips and you don't even have to have it attached if you don't need it that day, but... it must be sized for a woman or child, because the pictures show it covering a man's head well, but to me its like I put on my daughter's hood or something. Way undersized! But breaks the wind from hitting your face very well.Also it's expensive. Almost double the cost of other simular coats. I bought it because a reviewer said it was thick. That almost always equates to warm. It is and it did.Over all, 4 out of 5 because of a couple little shortcomings. Recommendations? Get it!!!I am going to contact the company about a larger hood. If there are any problems or successes I will update them here.

The picture looks different than what I thought I would be getting. I'm convinced that the picture isn't the same jacket they're selling. I thought the jacket I was getting wouldn't be as big and thick. I thought this was a denim jacket the way it looks. I'm not going to talk bad about the jacket. The jacket is good quality and will work good in the cold. However this jacket feels like a big military type of jacket. It's big and bulky and you'll know once you put it on. I just want to tell people that this is a big jacket. If you don't want a big thick military jacket this isn't for you. If that's what you want then you'll love this jacket.

I'm a 5'9" 170lb female. I bought this jacket because men's clothing lasts a lot longer than female clothes. This jacket is very nice and warm. I'm usually a large in men's but I bought it extra large. It feels like a bear is hugging you and keeping you warm. Very well made! I highly recommend it!

I am 5'9" and 165 lbs. This large fits well and is very warm. I usually wear a medium, but chose a large in case I wore thicker shirts or sweaters under this. My only thought is the zipper does not seem high quality. It does not work smoothly. I had to wiggle it to get it to close. It might break in. Until then, I will be careful with it.

this is a good looking coat but the first time I wore it the zipper came apart just under my chin and I could not get the coat off. I tried too lower the zipper but could not move it . Because of that I had too pull the zipper apart to get the coat off. Cheep Zipper!

This is a really nice jacket but I was disappointed that it arrived with several slash cuts in it. It looks like someone caught it with a box cutter while packing. I managed to sew up the holes but I'd rather not have to repair a brand new jacket.Other than the damage, the item itself is quite nice. Warm and cozy. Love the large hood, deep and numerous pockets, and fuzzy lining. The zipper isn't great and the buttons are really difficult to close, the buttonholes are too small and awkwardly angled.

Used it all winter and have enjoyed it. Great lining and comfort. Also like the pockets and how they are designed
