This passes our water snobbery test
The media could not be loaded. We like to push things to the limit just to see how far something can actually go, versus how far we're told it can go. So we decided to push the filters. We are also a bit of water snobs and we like our water to taste like spring water. The filter that came with the system lasted about 7 months. The replacement filter lasted almost a year, and the only reason why we switched it out was because it was filtering so slow that our patience just couldn't handle it anymore! What noticed is that the quality of the water does not go down after 90 days. First day and last day taste the same. It just collects all the sediment in the filter and starts to get clogged after a time; which causes it to filter slower. Still no leaking after over a year and a half, and we live in a state with very hard water! You can actually see a visual difference in the picture and video. The unfiltered water has literally stained the reservoir, and you can even see some hard water buildup on top the edge, but the filtered water reservoir is still crystal clear. All that even though we've only used 2 filters in a year and a half (We just put in our third).

Best Investment & Water I Have Ever Tasted!
Because it's a good filtration system it's slower than Brita or Pur in filling up the large pitcher but the taste is worth the wait... delicious clean pure water! To solve issue with slow filtration rate I leave the large pitcher on the kitchen counter and fill a smallerer pitcher to put in the fridge.I use my Counter Epic Water pitcher to make tea, coffee, sauces & soups. As a result of drinking this pure water for over 3 months (and doing no other change in my life) my energy has increased and my sleep has been better and more restful than ever, that I have now started to work out.Because this water tastes so good, i invested in a travel water bottle that keeps the water chilled for upto 24hrs. I take my water wherever I go and refuse to drink any other water. Once you buy the pitcher and drink this water you'll see for yourself and will agree with me it's the best investment you will ever make in your health.Regarding the leak from spout: you have to make sure you tighten it well. Just because you think you have screwed it on tight doesnt mean you have. If it leaks, it means you can tighten it more. I have had mine 3 months nowand have had no leaks. Enjoy!

Excellent!
This is a great dispenser. Yes, it takes time for the water to go through the filter... I've never had any kind of water filter that worked instantaneously... but it doesn't take hours and it does a great job. Mine doesn't leak at all, although I did cover the threading with some PTFE tape before putting the spigot on, just to make sure. Our tap water is technically drinkable but often smells like sulphur... which is not appetizing! This dispenser completely removes the smell and makes it taste better too. The replacement filters might seem a little expensive (currently $120 for a pack of 3) but when you consider that a 3-pack is good for 450 gallons, it's way cheaper than buying bottled water, and you don't wind up with a ton of plastic bottles to toss/recycle. Well worth it.

Leaks like a sieve without the screen
There are a few things I like about this product, it looks like it is the most effective at removing contaminants from you water and the water it produces tastes great and the quantity you can filter and have cold to use is great! ONLY IF IT WOULD RETAIN WATER WITHOUT LEAKING CONSTANTLY. The manufacturer acknowledges the item leaks and says it is not their fault it is yours. They prove this by saying most of the leaks are from the spigot (which I agree) and that it is YOUR fault because you obviously cannot put the spigot on correctly or tight enough. I have put the spigot on several times and as tight as I could hand tighten, as tight as possible and then some as it says in their condescending instructions. What is interesting is that there is an of occurence of qualityu defects being reported for them to make special mention of it in the assembley instructions. I would call it a design flaw especially if it is a frequently reported problem from consumers especially if it made their quality system pareto of root cause defect issues. THEY DONT HAVE A PROBLEM YOUR JUST INEPT! They indicate it an issue around the sealing of the o-ring between the spigot and the plastic tank. After several episodes and study I find literally no leakage from the seal. In fact I have adjusted the spigot when cleaning the tank and tighten very tight. The leak is coming directly from the spigot. It appears to be more around the seating of the blue lever which activates the flow of water from the tank. Most recently after I was determined to find the cause, I noticed that it leaked freely when the lever move to the left or the right the slightest degree. Unless you enjoy cleaning your refrigerator frequently or mopping the floor in front of the refrigerator often.. SKIP THIS PRODUCT. I am more insulted that instead of working on the design flaw and getting a spigot that holds water, The company would rather infer that you are some how lacking intelligence o competence. How hard should it be to screw on a spigot? FED UP!!!!!!!

Quality of Function over design
The product works just as advertised, filtered water that ""tastes"" great - I cannot say for heavily mineralized areas but with water that has noticeably strong fluoride notes the filter removes all hints of it or any other orders and minor tastes. The container, while slow filtering and takes up a bit of space, is easy to fill up and use, re-filling its little tank doesn't take up much time. The issue I have with it however is the product's design, namely their nozzle and gasket. The gasket's color is obnoxiously the same color as the other parts and worst still gives no strong indication which direction it needs to be facing when you install it. I'm betting a portion of comments about "pushing" and "forcing" as you screw it in is because of the gasket's direction. In my opinion they need to reconsider how to make the gasket stand out otherwise it'll continue to be annoying for everyone.
