I have a Shih Tzu whose fur is constantly getting knots in it. I am keeping his fur short, but he still gets some. After I shampoo him I spray with this and it helps to keep his fur soft and easy to brush through. It also smell very good.

My goldendoodle has thick hair that mattes easily, when i spray this on it makes his hair so much better, it gets way less curled up and it gets much softer and it smells good, he just hates when i spray him with it lol I think it’s just him though

Like all Biosilk products this does not disappoint. I use it on my Yorkie and her hair is so soft and smells wonderful. It’s not sticky. Just use a light mist an inch or two away.I like that the product does not clog from where it sprays. The product does not weigh down the coat. Very easy to use and you’re getting quality for your money. I would say this gets the job done and more.

I use this on my Bernese Mountain Dog and it makes her smell so nice and her coat looks shiny after brushing. I’m not sure how much it helps with detangling, but I feel like it does make somewhat of a difference. I will be repurchasing when I run out

I have two Bichon Frise and one of them wont never let me brush her fur, so it’s pretty scruffy and get matted so end up shaving at the groomer and looks like thanks giving turkey … but with this spray, it helps her to detangle and it smells really really good! Just spray one then directly or on to the brush so it’s easy to use and makes the hair without static and also makes the fur soft. Wish it’s easier to spray a bit more though because if your hand is wet, it’s bit hard to hold the bottle and press the top spray part with one hand. If they made it bigger or flatter and change functionality , it would be amazing! Nevertheless less, this is a great detangler with great smell spray for your dog!

Works good on my dog, and smells good, deranges well, leave hair silky and shiny after blow dry process… happy with my purchase.

I have 2 Schnauzers. Between grooming they tend to get tangles on their legs and furnishings, especially in this wet weather. This product was really no better than I could get at a department store. The non-adjustable, push down spray cap is not a good idea when trying to brush tangles. It just sprays a stream and makes a wet spot on the fur. I poured it into a trigger bottle and adjusted the nozzle and it works better. The product itself, not very effective.

I have Chow Chows. I am not a professional groomer, but I have all the essential equipment of a gooming salon because I am an over night trip from the nearest salon which will accept Chow Chows. I pay attention to which products professionals use, try them, and choose those that work best for me and my dogs. I am pleased to give BioSilk a very positive review. It is neither sticky nor oily. It is very slippery and has a fabulous but light scent.Chow Chows are very labor intensive, grooming-wise. They are double coated which means they have a long, guard-hair top coat over a dense, insulating undercoat which is shed twice a year. BioSilk makes brushing so much easier as it is very slippery. The dampness of a detangling spray also helps prevent long hair breakage. My Chows have very long hair in back and on their tails. It is very showy, but...oh, my! If it wasn't for BioSilk I don't think I could get it brushed out.This is how I use BioSilk. Working back-to-front, bottom-to-top over the entire dog I fluff the hair backwards with my hand and spray BioSilk on a small area. Then, holding the hair back with one hand, I line-brush down to the skin using a long-pin slicker brush, pulling a little more hair toward me with each stroke creating a line. The slippery BioSilk lets the slicker brush glide through the dense coat, and it helps to remove loose undercoat which prevents matting. My dogs are fluffy and clean smelling for a fabulous finish.
