Nice scope for the price point
The fan is a little loud, boot up a little slow but neither are too bad. For those complaining about the viewing angle hit display and adjust gratitude and or intensity or I don't know maybe read the manual :)

Looks awesome on my bench
This thing looks amazing and when people see it on my workbench they think it must have Star Trek tricorder like abilities. As far as use goes I have no idea what i'm doing or what settings I should be using. I'm a hobbyist who has gotten by just fine with a couple multimeters for 20 years. I bought it because I needed to do some rf tuning for small 5mhz transponders I built for RC racing. I was told to use FFT mode and...Anyway that's not important, my suggestion is if you're like me and muddle in electronics very occasionally I would buy something less expensive. I feel a 2 channel would've been more than enough for my needs. I wanted to future proof so I busted out the extra cheddar for a 4 channel but now I highly doubt I'll ever learn how to use this thing even near its potential. That being said the build quality and feel is good. Also this particular scope comes highly recommended by many youtubers who know way more about scopes than I'll ever know.

Full feaured scope at an affordable price. Wait, that sounds too much like an ad.
Retired electronics tech that had high end test equipment at my job. I am impressed with the ease of use and abilities of this scope. Even though I am comfortable with using an oscilloscope I went through the us -+++ers manual page by page. I found the best source of signals to learn how to use this scope. I opened up a wireless mouse and attached the probes to the optical sensor leads. This gave me signals to test almost all of the functions of the scope. And it performed very well.

Solid Entry Level Scope
This is a competent, light duty, entry level storage scope. The front panel layout is decent. The user interface is sensible. It performs the basic functions most people need. It does it all for under $400 USD (4 channel/100MHz).The cooling fan is aggressively loud. The fan pitch is tolerable but you definitely notice when you turn it off. It does not move much air so the loudness is surprising and unnecessary. It rivals large HP test equipment from the 80s in volume. If it were not for the fan noise, I would give it 5 stars because of the good value.

Easy and quick to setup
It also comes with 4 scope probes (not mentioned on Amazon). It was easy to both setup and adjust. Very simple but accurate in use along with being very light and compact.

Great beginner scope
Before I got this I was using a GW Instek GOS-620 20MHz analog scope with only 2 probes. The controls feel very similar and now I have 4 probes (all included), and using a Single trigger I can zoom in to a live snapshot of the signals I am looking at right on the scope.Set it up, calibrated the probes, and good to go!Critical review:- Startup time is about 15 seconds and one time it failed to start so I had to unplug it and plug it in again.- I wish the vertical and horizontal position knobs were more sensitive. Maybe there is a setting.Very happy with the purchase. You can't get a 4 channel storage scope for this price anywhere else, except maybe Rigol which has less features.

SDS1104X-U 100MHz review
My first impression after turning oscilloscope power on was very positive. The setup was very intuitive and easy after I've read Quick Start. The screen is high resolution, all needed info is displayed on it.So far I used oscilloscope only basic function and I was impressed with single trigger mode.Impulse delay time is displayed on the screen which is very helpful.Probe compensation function works very well. All controls work fine. The fan noise is audible however is neither strong nor annoying.I still need to check the oscilloscope more advance functions but so far I'm very happy with it.I highly recommend this model.

Bad viewing angle on display
Just received and setup my new scope. First siglent I have used.Everything seems to work fine, except when I installed it at my over bench shelf. The viewing angle is horrible if looking up at display, the grid isnt even visible.
