Heat lamp works well
Only dislike is one of the bulbs was broken.

Does the job
Used to provide additional lighting for young tortoises, no problems so far

Change in design may result in quicker burnout
It does the job, but a change in design may lead to quicker burn out of the bulb, I'll be monitoring this going forward

Over heating
Unfortunately I've found out that these lamps can’t be relied upon not to overheat, which is really bad news for me caring for our two tortoises, however might suit other purposes

Useful when needed
Arrived well packaged, I bought this lamp as a stand by and I'm pleased I did my uvb stopped working so I used this as a temporary lamp for my tortoise on his tortoise table the clamp is very firm and grips the tortoise table securely the neck is very flexible and can be used to position the bulb at the distance needed for the basking spot, the temperature under the lamp reached between 35 to 40degrees, the lamp came with a spare bulb

Broken bulb
The lamp itself seems ok but 1 bulb was broken and the other one only lasted a week. Luckily I had ordered spare bulbs

Faulty, but seller resolved
The bulbs work fine but the lamp itself doesn't. I would return it but it's too awkward to walk 30 minutes each way to the nearest place that I can return it. However, the seller contacted me and offered a refund for the faulty item which is fantastic. I can't fault the seller, just a shame that the item I received was faulty.(Edited from 1* to 5* after seller resolution)

This will be the 4th heat lamp and a lot less expensive than all the others. So I live in hope.
