I've never been a marmite fan but didn't mind the taste of vegemite, I'm not a huge fan of any yeast extract but after a celiacs diagnosis its nice to have some variety and have purchased this several times (it does last me a while) it is expensive, and for those not to happy with the taste of that it may contain celery - but require a gf yeast extract maybe try "MeridianNatural Yeast Extract" - hope that helps

Jar smashed at bottom
Just received this item and the jar is all smashed at the bottom, the packaging was completely in tact,I cut myself on the glass when i tried to take it out the packaging.

No difference in taste to normal Marmite
I'm not sure what process is used to make it gluten free but I have to say that I could only eat one slice of bread with it on due to...how can I say it...gale force winds arriving!

How excited was I to see this product! A bit more £ than the original, but at the end of the day, I am the only one in the family using this. Taste like the original.

GF FOODS.
Trying to get GF free Marmite is impossible. Amazon came up with GF Vegemite. Not the same but near enough to please my GF husband. Thank you.
