Beautiful color

This is the only gold I use! It’s super concentrated and absolutely beautiful. I’ve ordered probably 5 over the last few months. I don’t want to be without it! I also just ordered their silver so im excited to see that!

This product exceeded my expectations. I was shocked to find out how saturated it was with the chrome-like gold dust. Every guest enjoyed eating my treats. I would buy this again as soon as I finish this tiny bottle. A little bit goes a long way.You can see the comparable difference between the gold luster vs. the pre-made pearlescent liquid from a different company.I'm not sure why there are negative reviews for this product, but my orders have been consistent and A LITTLE BIT GOES A LONG WAY. I have had my tiny container for 2 years and still manage to use A LOT. Perhaps you negative reviewers need decorating lessons and teach yourself how to properly use luster dust.

This negative reviews are honestly mind boggling. The product description lists the product in grams. This is a WEIGHT, not a volume. This means that 6 grams of silver can easily be filled to the top while the gold with the same weight and same container size only appears half full. It just depends on the density of the material each is made of.That being said, no, it's not a lot of dust, but I've had my container for well over a year, and it's still only halfway gone. Of all the gold dusts I've tried so far, I find this one to be the superior choice. When mixed with clear alcohol and applied thickly, it gives a true metallic gold finish. It's very shiny and bonds together to give the look of true gold/gold leaf, not just a shimmery gold tone like most.Please note, this is meant to be used to ACCENT your pieces as it's not technically edible (it even says so on the label). If you're looking to make a whole cake gold, this jar is very small and likely wouldn't cover much more than one 8" double cake. Cost-wise, the price is very comparable to other similar products.

I am a beginner at the whole DIY treats so I don't know if that was the reason it was hard for me to paint with it. I tried it dry and didn't like the look so I mixed it with vodka. I set it dry for a day or so I still felt like it was wet to the touch and left residue on my fingers when i tried to pick it up. Don't know if I need to do more research and testing g of the product to get it right bit it was ok for the baby shower I did. Everyone seemed to love it. Would have like a bigger bottle for the price but I guess for the price and size that seems to be what you get wherever you go.

This dust is beautiful and exactly what I was looking for! I made cake pops for a wedding and used a paint brush and a little vodka to paint the dust on for a metallic gold effect. It’s not enough to paint a ton of whole cake pops, but it’s a great amount for painting accents. I also used it for painting chocolate roses, and I really loved the result. I will use this again!
