Stylish, quiet, compact and effective!
As an add on to our much more expensive Dyson Hot + Cool Air purifier, which is app enabled and monitors the air, we placed two of those in more remote parts of the home, including our bedroom. The price was truly amazing on Amazon from a brand that we have numerous appliances from and trust. They work great! It is clear that our home's air clears much faster after cooking as measured by the Dyson with all three units running. And, we both feel less congested at night and when we wake up. Best of all, they are really quiet yet still move a lot of air. And, as you can see in the photos, the units and compact and stylish and tuck right away without standing out. After a month of use, I whole heartedly recommend.

Great Air Purifiers !!
I have bought 3 of these off Amazon. Some have been gifts; and I am likely to buy at least one more.I am currently using 2 small ones on each side of the bed. They work very well together on low speed without having just 1 of them and running it on higher speed which causes more noise. I am glad that generic filters are now being offered at a lower price. The cap-1000 offers UV light protection to kill viruses and the smaller unit does not. .. It is still a great Air Purifier. Even if the UV light in the Cap-1000 stops working air filtering will still take place bc of circulation of the air through the filters in the Cap 1000 - only UV virus protection is affected. I guess that would be a customer service issue. I guess a person could look into buying a UV light for different rooms. Both of these Cuisinart air purifiers are of very good quality. I am sleeping better at night and my sinus issues from allergies are much better. The Cuisinart air purifiers also filter out odors. They have timers that can be set by touching the clock symbol by tapping it for each hour you want it run before shutoff. They are also easy on the electric bill... 5 Stars.

Perfect size and weight
I bought this for our bedroom and have been very happy with its operation. It is small enough to be inconspicuous and powerful enough to purify the air for us. With the variable levels, we can adjust to make the noise level comfortable at night.

Better Sleep for my daughter
The Cuisinart Air Purifier (CAP-500) has been a real game-changer for my daughter’s sleep. Since we started using it, she seems to rest more peacefully and wakes up refreshed. The air feels noticeably cleaner, and I can trust that it’s catching even the tiniest particles, which gives me peace of mind about her breathing environment. Its quiet operation doesn’t disturb her, and the child lock ensures it’s safe in her room. It’s been a worthwhile addition for creating a calming, healthy space for her at night.

For those looking for low EMFs, this is a good option!
I had a Pure Zone air purifier in the kitchen for years and just ran out of filters for it. Before re-ordering more filters, I thought I would double check the EMF output to see if I perhaps needed to buy a different one that didn’t emit so many EMFs as my bedroom InvisiClean Sensa (which for whatever reason they don’t sell anymore) has a DC motor and emits very low levels of EMFs. I found this Cuisinart air purifier with a brushless DC motor and thought I’d give it a shot. I’m pleased to say, this is a huge improvement over the Pure Zone. EMFs for the Pure Zone are very high, even on level one. EMFs for the Cuisinart fall into the normal to medium range - with medium EMFs recorded only at level 3 (the highest fan speed). Noise level is acceptable. Also, the Cuisinart did a good job of removing the popcorn smell out of the kitchen after I popped some popcorn last night. Overall, it seems like a quality air purifier for smells and dust/pollen/dander and also emits low EMFs. They should really advertise the brushless DC motor in the first description and outline the low EMFs as there are people searching for exactly that in a sea of AC run, high EMF air purifiers. Stay away from anything that emits ozone also. This is why I like my Sensa and now this Cuisinart as well. No ozone.

It's easy to use and easy to set up
I just received it. I set it up easily and it seems like it's working fine. The fan has 3 levels. The fan is not really loud, but you can hear it on the highest setting. It has a sleep setting which is a low fan and a night light. I tested it, but have not used it through the night. I purchased this because of the horrible air quality over the summer during the Canadian wildfires. I'm sure we will be having more of those events, unfortunately, so I finally bought a purifier. I may buy a second one if it helps.
