100% necessary necessity
I found this product to be a life saver, I would go insane hearing my back yard gate make a high pitch screechy sound,When I applied this solution on the bolts, the lock, the latch and the hinges, I could immediately see a difference and hear/feel a difference,The colour of solution did go a bit yellow, what made it easy to apply is the long, thin red straw you get attached to the side of the can which you attach in the nozzle hole.The quality of the full product I find a well investment and great value to add for interior/exterior use you can buy.

Not quite sure of its ability to kill old rust. Doesn’t appear to be very effective. Does apply easily though and leaves a waxy type coating similar to Waxoyl.
