Q: Are these actually soft chewables? i just received my order and they are rock hard!

They are not soft chewables. I break them up and up into meal with a little bone broth. Works and all is consumed. I, too, was expecting somethin soft, but have made it work as the Eye Vet recommended use. Capsules are so large that my dachsund always found them and left them on the floor.

I didn't get the 60 supply..they only offered 30 day supply Exp date is 0822

Q: Are there any carbs or sugar in the chews?

No. The bottle indicates none of either and my baby's opthomalogist indicates these chewables have kept him from glaucoma so far.

I received a notice from Amazon that these were counterfeit and was given credit for purchase. I don't know if that issue was corrected. My vet recommended these for my dog who was already going blind to keep what tissue if "alive" in the eye remained healthy. I originally used capsules, but dog ate around them when placed in food and were too big for a small dog to swallow. Hence the change to the soft chews which really were not soft. Maybe "real" one are soft. Hope this helps somewhat.
