Better than a kettle
So easy to set up and use. 3 ways to despense water at 4 different temperatures . You can even shut it down over night, for example. Have it start before you get up ready for your first cuppa

Win wn all round
It is for a friend who has had a stroke hence having one useful hand only makes life awkward. It can live in their dining room, provide endless hot water for hot drinks without the endless filling of a kettle in the kitchen, at all times of the day or night. Kettles are very expensive to run as well. Win win all round.

Being returned
Not fit for purpose - worked for two days and on the third stopped dispensing water - also the buttons on the top of the kettle started cracking - in the process of being returned

Really useful for instant hot water
Excellent for hot water instantly but will start to reboil if water level gets too low and without warning. This is dangerous. Good value for money but water level must be watched and machine either refilled or turned off once it gets too low.

Wunderbar!
Firstly, I like the easy and very quiet operation of the Perma Therm. This makes it so quick and easy to make tea and coffee. We have about six cups a day each. Set the temperature to 96º rather than the pre-set 86º. Fill up before retiring for the night. Set the timer (in multiples of one hour) and it will 'sleep' and start up in time for your morning tea or coffee. Annoyingly though, it beeps five times after it has become operational again in the morning. Very pleased we bought this. We are even thinking of buying the smaller one to take upstairs to make a drink before bed and another in the morning, without having to go to the kitchen! A recommended product if you make tea and coffee regularly during the day and evening. Best to fill it with filtered water, unless you are lucky enough to live in a soft water area. It arrived within two days, well boxed and packed.... one good buy!

Easy for someone to use with bad hands
2nd one last one lasted 5 yrs so new replacement very convenient fill it with a jug of filter water each nite hot water on timer at 7am ready for tea seem expensive but what price ease of use

Stopped working after 5 days .
Don't dispense water. Still waiting for a reply from the seller. It is now the 25th February and I’ve not had any response from the seller or Amazon . It cost £99 and it’s not fit for use.mI’d be very weary of buying from this seller.
