Trolls World Tour – A Fun, Colorful Adventure for Kids
"Trolls World Tour" is a vibrant, energetic, and joyful film that’s perfect for kids. As a sequel to the first Trolls movie, it builds on the same fun and musical foundation, but expands the world in exciting ways that will keep young viewers entertained from start to finish.Engaging Storyline The movie follows Queen Poppy and Branch as they discover that their world is divided into six different musical lands, each representing a unique genre: Pop, Rock, Classical, Funk, Techno, and Country. When the Queen of Rock, Barb, tries to unite all the lands under rock music by force, Poppy and Branch embark on a mission to bring everyone together in harmony, celebrating their differences instead of fighting over them. The story is simple enough for kids to follow, but still offers important messages about acceptance, diversity, and the power of unity. It's filled with positive themes that can spark good conversations about respecting differences and working together.Colorful Animation and Characters The animation is a visual feast, full of bright colors and imaginative worlds that will captivate children. Each musical land has its own distinct look, and the attention to detail in bringing these worlds to life is impressive. The characters are as lovable as ever, with Poppy’s endless optimism and Branch’s cautiousness creating a nice balance throughout the film. The new characters from the other musical tribes are also great additions, each bringing their own unique style and flair. Queen Barb is a fun and spunky villain, and the variety of musical genres allows for a wide range of personalities that kids will enjoy.Catchy Music Music is, of course, the heart of the film. The soundtrack is packed with catchy songs from various genres that will have kids dancing and singing along. From pop hits to rock anthems, the music is engaging and fun, keeping the energy high throughout the film. It's a great way to introduce children to different types of music, and the film does a good job of celebrating each genre’s uniqueness.Perfect for Young Audiences While Trolls World Tour may not have the complexity or depth of some animated films aimed at broader audiences, it’s perfectly suited for its target age group. The humor is light, the characters are easy to root for, and the pace is fast enough to keep young viewers engaged. The movie’s positive message, coupled with its energetic soundtrack and colorful visuals, makes it an excellent choice for a family movie night or a fun afternoon with the kids.Final Thoughts Overall, Trolls World Tour is a delightful children's movie that delivers fun, music, and important lessons about acceptance and teamwork. It’s a feel-good film that’s sure to entertain young audiences with its colorful animation and infectious soundtrack. Highly recommended for kids and families!

Fun Movie, New Opportunity, Poorly Communicated New Situation
As many are seeing from the string of 1 star comments, people were taken off guard when Trolls World Tour was released on April 10, 2020. I will admit that I was one of them. I thought to myself how $20 was way too much money for a rental. Why couldn’t I own this movie right now? Why are they expecting so much? This feels greedy. Don’t they know how we have all been affect by COVID-19? People have lost their jobs, people haven’t received their promised stimulus and unemployment checks, and our lives have been turned upside as we know it. I mean, we bought the early release for Onward a few weeks back and it cost less than this rental. What gives? So knowing all of that, why would I give this a 5 star review? Because I realized I was looking at this from the tip of the iceberg. There was a huge chunk of this iceberg still below the surface, masked from my view, causing a misconstrued perception of what I was seeing. With further thought, it become clearer to me that we were in new territory. I was looking at this release as I do any other release where the movie goes to the theater, people buy tickets at the box office, and then we wait anxiously at home ready to pounce on buying the digital release. This movie didn’t do that. It was the first movie ever to go from production to digital release skipping the box office all together. Despite the marketing showing this was a premiere of the movie, I focused on how I saw “early release” and expected what I saw when Onward was an “early release”. However, these were not the same thing. Contrary to some of the other comments left, Onward, did go to the theater. They had their premier back in February 2020. It was released to the world in theaters on March 6, 2020. It grossed over $100 million during the short time it was released until they released it as an early release due to the theaters being closed from the COVID-19 pandemic. Trolls World Tour never did any of that. They didn’t get the premier. They didn’t get to release it worldwide in the box office. They never saw a penny as Onward had. So, comparing the two is not the same at all. Instead, Trolls World Tour was released as a home theater premiere experience. By doing this, they were allowing entire households to see a movie, instead of holding it up and waiting for the virus to be over and theaters to open again. So, why am I unwilling to pay $20 for the premier being brought to my home for my whole family when it would cost me more than $100 to see it once if we actually went to the theater? I am not. I was at first, but upon thinking about it, it is a steal. I am able to take my family to see a movie newly released for only $20 instead of $100 for tickets, not including what it may cost for popcorn, candy, and soda, and then, because my kids are young, missing large chunks of the movie for bathroom breaks, or scary parts…the possibilities are endless and unpredictable with young kids which is why we tend to avoid this part of the movie experience for right now. So, for us, this was a major win, and we got to do something we don’t normally get to do. Enjoy the premiere experience at our pace, as a family, with whatever snacks and drinks we wanted, as many times as we wanted. Yup, we’ve watch this at least 6 times now, my kids are having a blast, and we never would have gone to the theater over and over for over $100 a pop to see a movie. Instead, we would have waited until it was released as a digital purchase. Now, it doesn’t mean that some improvements couldn’t be made. They shouldn’t have put early release on both Onward and Trolls World Tour. It misguided people right away into thinking their experience would be the same simply based on the wording. The fact it was a premiere was lost and it should have said premiere without saying anything about an early release because it wasn’t. There should also be the ability to rent to own movies on amazon in general, where if you rented it, you should get a discount if you decide to purchase the movie later. I don’t mean for only the premiere releases, but all movie releases. There should be an incentive to want to rent and then buy. The digital realm is different than going in person in more ways than the cinematic experience. People do want a greater return on investments, and when it is so easy to purchase a movie with a click of a button, people usually want to buy something more permanent and not rent. Incentives could make this a more positive experience. With that said, we have to dig below the tip of the iceberg. The semantics of wording and lack of understanding by many of us, including myself, as to what was going on with this “early release” premiere, shouldn’t be what takes away from the movie. We did find a lot of joy in watching this movie multiple times, and I’m sure we will watch it many more times before our experience comes to an end tomorrow. I hope amazon does take into consideration how they could improve what happened. I would hate for us to lose the opportunity to have movies premiered at home because of how the first trial went down. Now, for my actual movie review and enough of why I think you should give this rental a go. The movie provides a perspective and morality that is so needed right now. The point of the movie is that we can coexist regardless of our personal beliefs together as one. We can sing different songs, dance differently, eat differently, and have different political and/or religious views and still all be good people. Now, I am not turning this into a political post, but we all feel and know the divisiveness that has been increasing and this movie brings us back to basics. We can coexist and get along if we choose to. We all have different reasons for our thoughts, as seen in this very comment section. We can let our own personal thoughts control every aspect of our lives and want everyone the same as the rock troll did, or we can all learn from Poppy and realize there is more to all of us. I feel this was a much needed sentiment and was done very tastefully. This is why I give this movie a 5 star review. Also, for those who watched The Croods, you'll see the "release the baby" scene come into play in this movie. It was a funny scene then and was here as well, but clearly wasn't original ;-)

We love trolls
one of my favorite franchises, the whole family can be entertained. Kid friendly but adult satisfying as well. Prefer watching the 1st or 3rd but for being a 2nd movie it's very good. I adore Justin Timberlake and Anna Kendrick. Miss the Bergen's

Family fun
We had problems being able to download with purchase from other sites, so decided we would purchase it for our collection. We loved the first Trolls movie and the second one did not disappoint. Worth the purchase. Already watched multiple times.
