Q: My pump is no longer working and difficult to press down on. Are there steps I can take to fix it, or are there any replacement pumps I can get?

Hi Rachel, Thank you for reaching out! Sometimes air gets caught in the bottle and / or pump. We are happy to send you a replacement, however often times you can get it working again. Try this: 1) Once the pump is screwed on, place your thumb over the mouth of the pump tightly, where product comes out. 2) Press down on the pump as if you were dispensing product while your thumb covers the opening. This forces the air trapped in the neck of the pump, out. Voila, problem often fixed! If that doesn't work please contact customer service at hello@hairstory.com to get a replacement pump sent. Our products are free of sulfates, detergents, parabens and any other harsh chemicals.
