Good quality thread. Have ordered this thread in different colours, very useful.

Used on a linen top and the thread just blended in really well. Will use on other fine fabrics. Could be good for attaching cotton lace.

I love this thin, fine thread from Coats. I'm sewing my daughter's wedding gown out of silk charmeuse. Obviously, I wanted to use thread that is strong enough to avoid any wardrobe malfunctions on her wedding day. However, regular weight thread was just too thick and heavy for the silk and I couldn't create beautiful, perfectly balanced stitches or seams with it. This Fine gauge thread is perfect for the charmeuse and the stitches lay beautifully.You will need to use a size 9 sewing machine needle, although a 10 will work in a pinch, and a size 9 or 10 hand sewing needle.The thread comes in a surprising range of colors and is suitably strong. As mentioned by another reviewer, it DOES lint heavily. I hate that and usually refuse to use a thread that throws a lot of lint. However, this thread suited all of my needs at a reasonable price and is readily available. I just use compressed air and clean my bobbin race area daily when sewing with this thread.

Works just like its supposed to. I'm not much of an expert on yarn, but I needed fine thread to repair one of my dress shirts and this did the job.
