These keyboard protectors are just a "No Brainer!" & a "Must Have!"
I had never used a keyboard protection cover on my own keyboards, as over the years whenever I had come across covered keyboards I found them to interfere with the feel & action of the keys. However having spent a fortune on a new MacBook Pro & my past experience of the costs involved to get a repair. I looked to find something offering better performance, when I came across this model, being made by a company I have some respect of!Having used this cover for several months now, I can honestly say that it has saved my keyboard repeatedly. It fits perfectly & once installed, other than for a slight colour change (To a dark hazy grey, which actually helps soften the contrast of the black keyboard on my aluminium model). The keyboard backlighting continues to work pretty well as normal too. Indeed I believe that had you not been privy to its installation most people wouldn't be able to detect it, as it fits so well. The fingerprint reader key works perfectly (As the cover leaves this uncovered.)I have never found the membrane prone to lifting or being easily dislodged while typing ether. It does oh so very slightly cushion your fingers, but is actually, quite comforting. Yet when you wish to remove the cover for cleaning, it is very easy lift away and can then even be washed under the tap and dried before refitting. As an investment in protection for your expensive notebook keyboard, it is well worth having. It has already saved my machine from unexpected splashes from nearby spills and while it isn't claiming to be waterproofing your keyboard, it does a great job protecting it from life's little mishaps & prevents dust, finger grease & dirt from gaining entry under your keys which will ultimately lead to damage.I admit to being a real sceptic as to the practicality & usefulness of any covering membrane previously. As all those I had ever come across, had been nothing but an obstruction to typing and often to the detriment of the look of your notebook too. So the above comments, are high praise, indeed.

Protection Without Compromise
This cover is almost invisible but does a fantastic job of keeping dust and spills off my MacBook keyboard. Typing feels natural, and it doesn’t interfere with the backlight. Such a small purchase but a huge upgrade in keeping my laptop clean

As keyboard covers go, this is the best I've used to date
Let's not kid ourselves: keyboard covers are always a compromise. "This keyboard cover has made my typing experience 200% more awesome!": literally, no one, ever. The reason why we use covers is to prevent damage to the device, from dust, scratches and wear-and-tear.However, there are degrees and nuances, even in something so simple as this, there is a range of possibilities. This keyboard cover in particular I think makes the best of a bad situation.I use it on an M1 MBP, UK layout. There is no squeaking (yes, I've had squeaky keyboard covers), no falling off, no warping, no misalignment, no stickiness. The hindrance to typing is kept to a minimum, the mushiness is as low as it can be, even on the smaller arrow keys, so it doesn't require a harder touch to operate the keys. You can still feel the edges of the keys, they still feel well distinct from each other, allowing you to limit or eliminate mistyping. The F and J ridges can also be distinctly felt.On an M1 MBP Pro the aesthetics could be ever so slightly improved, because the cover leaves a 1 mm of the black area uncovered at the edge, particularly noticeable on the bottom edge, which is a bit of a shame. The circular hole for the fingerprint sensor I think is a nice touch, instead of cutting it out completely like other keyboard covers do, in fact for me it makes using the sensor a little more satisfying to use, not sure why.The packaging and presentation is also the best you can hope for in this kind of accessory, which does improve your confidence in the product, it's a not a generic chinoiserie. Every part of the packaging is branded, and the cover comes with a hard plastic base to prevent stretching inside the package, plus a second cardboard wrapping inside. Heck, even the cover itself has the "GhostCover" mark imprinted on the space key (very subtle, don't worry). In conclusion I am happy with this keyboard cover, I think it's a compromise one can live with, if one needs to.

Perfect for the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro (2021 onwards)
This is the best keyboard cover I've ever had! Very well made, fits perfectly, material feels nice to the touch and is easy to type on. This tinted version blends in really well with the black keyboard deck of the MacBook Pro.Very happy with it!

Not quite right macbook 2021
I recently bought one of these for a macbook pro max 2024.....works perfectly! So I bought another, that didn't work perfectly. The more recent one I bought was for a macbook pro 2021 (same size). The recess for the main return key (right center) on this keyboard is horizontal, whereas the 2024 mac has an L shaped return key with vertical hight. So the cover does not work for my 2021 mac as it catches the / key every time I press return. It's a shame, other than that huge oversight, it's a great product.

The best keyboard cover
I purchased a lot of covers before trying this one and this is by far the best.It fits the MacBook Pro M1 (16”) perfectly and you can remove it and clean it just as easily. No creases or bumps that were common with other covers. It’s not as transparent as you’d expect but that’s not a big issue for me considering the protection it offers.
