Q: I put an ounce too much in my diesel boat tank. Will this cause a problem?

You cannot over dose. I have been using Star Tron Diesel for years in our diesel motorhome and in my Bobcat Skid loader. Both RV and Bobcat sit unused for months sometimes. I believe "a little more" is better. I use the gas version in my Honda generator, lawn tractor, and anything else that runs on gas. It sits all summer and starts perfect. When needed in the winter. Also, consider TruFuel for oil+gas mix equipment such as chair saws, grass trimmers. Sits 2-3 years and starts right up. Amazing.

Q: Does this work as a biocide (only says helps to disperse water) or do you need to buy a biocide additive separately?

Not sure but it's possible to work as a biocide. Reason I say that is because years ago this product was recommended by some of my over-the-road trucker buddies to treat diesel fuel. The enzyme treatment creates an environment where black mold can't grow in diesel fuel. Again, a biocide property to make this possible, dunno. My Dodge Ram 3500 fuel system was ruined by black mold many years ago. Been using Star Tron ever since with excellent results.

Q: Is this product proper to use in a diesel heater?

Since a diesel heater uses diesel fuel as their primary fuel source I don't see why you can't use Startron. Just be sure to add the proper amount according to the fuel tank size.
