I ordered this kit to replace the fan motor on my Pitboss 700 classic that had went out. I bought the this kit because i didnt feel like dropping $500 on a new grill. The kit came in within a couple days. With the help of a youtube video, I replaced the fan, firepot, auger drive motor, and heating element within an hour. Everything is a direct plug and play replacement. Extremely simple process. It actually took me longer to drain and remove the hopper than it did to replace the parts. Excellent product!

They work great. I love the set of 2, to monitor 2 different items at same time.

Started my search with PitBoss probe.'You might like, other similar' led me to this item.I did not know PitBoss and Treager have different plugs.Same size plugs but,PitBoss has 2 conductors,Treager has 3 conductors.Gave them a try before returning.They work just fine in my PitBoss.Temp reading matches the original PitBoss probe.

I haven used them as yet but I see no reason why they won't work.

Two new probes and two temperatures 30 to 40 degrees apart.

the hot rod worked only one time and I had to replace it with the old one to finish cooking.
