This screen is very well-built and should last for many years. It is an effective screener for compost, wood chips, etc., but be prepared for a workout if you have a lot to screen. I coated mine with a wood preservative to make sure it doesn't warp or wear out too soon, but that may not be necessary.

I have used this sifter to help clean out soil from old pots and also to to sift compost from my compost pile. It's such a great tool and has made my life so much easier! Well built and sturdy. This is my first year using it, I'll update my review if it gets better or worse.

A little small.

I needed a budget friendly sifter to sift through unscreened soil when I came across this one. It’s very sturdy, made of good materials, and works very well. The size is great for small jobs.

This sieve was a perfect size to help separate small stones from garden soil.

Best price I could find

Sifts well. Hopefully it will last a long time.
