Quicker than expected delivery and comes in a nice box. My boyfriends very pleased with it!

This is the Rolls Royce of Otamatones. If it can be possibly compared to anything decent. It is well built but still makes the same naff tone as the rest of them but that's why people buy them. This one is a little better because you can connect it to an iPad and make it play sounds from an app library. This makes it much more versatile. Unfortunately, despite paying a large sum of money for the instrument you are still expected to shell out more money for an app which in my opinion should be free.

Our 6 year old was so super-excited about an Otamotone Techno that we paid way over the odds to buy one on Amazon that we could get hold of relatively quickly (ie £270 including taxes). Having got the machine we followed the instructions to connect it to apps (another £10 cost). There is some small print on the instructions that we read retrospectively that say that some of the apps can “turn off the Otamotone speakers”. These are that apps that the manufacturer’s instructions endorse in their instructions. This has happened to us and there is pretty much no sound from the Otomatone except if it’s connected to an iPad or similar. I have spent literally 4 hours on my kid’s birthday today trying to figure out online how to get the speakers turned back on. Without any success whatsoever. Am hoping that the manufacturer will get this fixed for us over the next 24 hours or we will have to return (presumably having lost £78 in taxes and app costs). The product support is EXTREMELY poor.

Kam sogar 2 Wochen vor dem Termin an und natürlich ist alles super damit! Ich hatte von meiner Frau ein Schwarzes bekommen und wollte ihr ein Pinkes schenken, doch leider gibt's das Techno nich in pink. Egal, Weiß ist es auch super!Die Teile sind niedlich und funktionieren echt gut! Empfehlenswert! 🥰

It's amazing, it squeeks when you squish the mouth due to the spring, it looks nice just sitting on your desk or wherever, it sounds funny!If you're thinking of buying this, it's worth it, given you know what it even is! Don't expect to buy it for any kid and see them play some advanced music on it! At least, not until they've put hundreds of hours in practising.Honestly found that I'm not using the Techno feature of using an external third party app as much as I thought I would, probably could've saved a few dollars and got the Deluxe version alone but, it's a few dollars, I've spent that difference more on Chipotle than I have on this!So yeah, hella worth, came in earlier than expected, it's an Otamatone, enjoy it!
