The media could not be loaded.  Boye plastic yarn needles don't seem to have changed since I was a young child and in this case there is nothing wrong with that. They have an extra large eye for threading sports weight yarn to extra bulky yarn with ease. I do wish that they included a plastic tapestry needle with the angled tip instead of two yarn needles. These are sturdy with a decent degree of flexibility. Note that if you need to make a stitch in a tight area you may snap this in an attempt to angle it down, through, and back up through stitches in projects like amigurimi hence the desire for a yarn and tapestry needle in one pack. You get what you pay for, plastic needles with a low price point affordable enough to replace when you inevitably snap one of lose it to the couch or other black holes that eat crafting supplies.

These work great on the blanket I am making.

These are handy if you are a beginner but eventually you are going to want to buy the metal one and they are literally the same price so just buy the metal one.
