Good quality
That’s is the best quality I used, I have purchased many products that have hair loss issues! Only this one haven’t this problem. Value for money !

Not the best
This roller sleeves are ok but would not get them again. I usually use two fussy Blockes and will stick with them

Great value, slimmer than painters masking tape so are good for cutting in against tape
These seem good so far (used 2). I bought these specifically as the rollers for their lack of thickness, they (when pressed on a wall) are shallower that painters masking tape meaning I can roller edges for cutting-in instead of using a brush and leaving brush marks. This speeds things up a great deal and leaves me with the desired wall finish :)They were great value for money. For the price, I will wrap (cellophane) and re-use for a project and throw away after instead of wasting time cleaning. No noticeable “new roller” fluff left behind too. Very easy to use as they fit my existing handles perfectly.

Great for a flat finish - skill required to use them properly.
Using these rollers is not a matter of rolling the rollers into paint and slapping it on. Skill has to be used to get the right amount of paint onto the roller and then work the paint to cover the surface. In my case I used them to paint doors. You need to keep working the rollers until they leave few air bubbles. Also, I use them to finish in one direction. Do not have the paint too runny but firm with viscosity. That way you will get a very flat finish.Be warned - if you think that you open the packet and fit the rollers then slap some paint on - you will be disappointed. They need skill to use. With skill, you get a great finish. Do not worry about the air bubbles on the final finish as they disappear. BUT, try and limit the bubbles as much as possible.

More robust than foam rollers. 2" size rollers rare.
Got these to paint tiles with a small 2" roller. The existing 2" foam roller disintegrated on first use, leaving foam flecks in the paint. These rollers are good, are robust, leave a fine surface , and soak up much less paint than foam, so easier to clean up afterwards.

Sheds wool like you've rubbed a lamb on your work piece.
First off I washed these rollers through to remove manufacturing debris but even with the caveats created with the comments below they were still moulting. They skidded and stalled; not good. These rollers are not universal and my tried and tested Purdey and Harris handles did not want to engage with the sleeve. I managed to get a Harris to accept the roller but it wouldn't roll. Smear and rub. It also wouldn't agree to be removed without excessive effort; pliers and undue violence eventually convinced the outer but the inner gripping and rolling bit stayed firmly in place. I removed that with a very sharp pair of snips. And no, my kit is in good condition: Rust, corrosion and paint build up played no part.At £0.907 per unit and a slim chance of re-use unless you wish to splash out on Axus handles which don't fit very well on other sleeves and are a bit prone to shedding don't go there.
