This creamed coconut is fantastic and honestly I think I might stock up on it. Now y'all need to understand something (cuz apparently some did not) creamed coconut (or coconut butter) is literally the meat and oil of a mature coconut that has been dehydrated and is blended or ground into a paste then packed like a brick in this case with no other ingredients other then 100% coconut. Yes you need to becareful how high your heat is when using this as it can an will burn medium heat at the highest, i suggest a low and slow melt.Coconut milk is totally different process in which coconut meat is shredded and placed in water to soak and fat from the process will be removed and the water strained so nothing is in the final milk well unless you count the thickeners and all that which companies do indeed add.You can make coconut milk with creamed coconut but depending on how much coconut flavour you want you may have to add lots of water if you want a very light coconut taste but you might need a thickening agent.

A really tasty addition to Chinese and Indian food, and it's at a really good price! Recommend it, there's nothing to fault.

This is an unbelievably delicious product. I use it not only in Asian cookery but I have invented a pudding recipe which is low carb and high fat; helps to keep me on the keto path! In case you'd like to try it, here it is:Coconut pudding1 x 200gm carton Tropical Sun Premium Creamed Coconut, slowly melted in a pan then cooled.400 - 500gms double cream (our cream comes in 200gm packs so I use 400gms)sweetener to taste (I use 3 tsps powdered erythritol and 10 drops of stevia)Mix all ingredients together. Add 1 tsp of dissolved gelatine if needed, to ensure it is firm enough.Place into a container and chill until firm.I would also like to mention that Tropical Sun Premium Creamed Coconut is amazing value for money. I live in Portugal and have the pack of a dozen delivered as part of a main order, with little additional postage.

Very impressed with this, comes in 12 solid cigarette box sized cartons. Cut the carton open and you have a plastic sealed block of creamed coconut or coconut butter as they call it in the US. Be warned, the top 20% if each block is solid condensed coconut oil, that doesn't taste very nice, but below that is the good stuff. I'd been buying the jars on here and it Tesco for £5 per 500g but this is better value and easier to carve up/get out

Creamed coconut is a must have ingredient in my household to add to Caribbean rice and peas, plus various curries.I got this on Amazon's 'Deal of the day' (over £2 off) but if you go to a big supermarket you can usually buy the same brand at £1 per 200g pack.The same taste and quality as the more expensive Dunn's River and Blue Dragon brands in my opinion.At room temperature I like to squish around the inner packet to mix together the coconut oil with the cream. This flattens the block out also, making it a bit easier to cut off pieces after it goes solid in the fridge.'Use By' date for the ones I got are 2025 which I'm happy with.

Most creamed coconut and tinned coconut also contains artificial additives, so finding this brand of 100% coconut has made me very happy
