I first purchased two Puncia (Langyan) Smart Mugs from Amazon and then I purchased an additional two mugs because I liked the originals so much. Everything being equal, I would prefer around 16 oz. volume in lieu of the 13 oz. maximum.Previously I have had various electric mugs, but the Puncia's are my first to exceed a maximum of over 160 degrees Fahrenheit. Puncia cups maximum are 90 degrees Celsius and that equates to 194 degrees Fahrenheit. I like my coffee at a minimum of 80 degrees Celsius (176 degrees Fahrenheit). Also I like the fact you can set your temperature and the cup will maintain that temperature until it is manually changed and not just turned off.Today I contacted Amazon because I had problem with a defective electrical cord of a new coffee mug out of the box. I was told that I would have to return the cup for a reimbursement. This is not cost effective, because you can purchase a new cord at Amazon for $7.99 and the cost of returningthe cup and cost of packaging it would exceed the $7.99.In spite of my problem with the one new cup I am rating the coffee mug five stars because I believe the benefits out weigh the problem I had with the wire for the new cup. As a test, I heated this mug completely filled with coffee from room temperature (35 C) to hot (65 C). It took twenty minutes and thirty-seven seconds (20:37). So far this mug is working as expected. On the other hand, this is the third mug the seller has sent me. The other two didn't heat correctly, which is why I've deducted one star.On the positive side, the seller has high integrity and will do their best to make sure you get a product that works properly.UPDATE: One nice feature is, this mug not only heats up liquids, it also keeps your liquid heated to the temperature you've preset. So your hot coffee remains hot all the way down to the last sip. On the other hand, you can also program it to heat to a desired temperature and then by pressing the power button, your liquid will cool down naturally.I can see why the seller was so persistent. When this mug works, it works very well. I like the fact that instead of having to reheat my coffee on the stove, I can just put it in the mug and it will heat up on my desk while I'm working on the computer. No need to monitor the coffee pot in the kitchen. My coffee's sitting right next to me, heated to the perfect temperature.

I love this cup so much I use it to heat up my babies food while we’re on the go. The only thing I didn’t care for is that the directions are not clear as far as how the cup works. But when you turn on the cup pour your water in to heat the bottle or baby food up . It takes about 5-7 minuets to get the water hot which is really fast. You’ll know the cup is heating when the numbers are highlighted in RED , the settings don’t work but the cup does get HOT FOR SURE. If you are looking for something to heat up a bottle this is for you!!!

After 2 months of usage the charging cable and port on the mug are malfunctioning all the time. Most likely cheap wire. and since the connection is unique can’t really fix it.It’s shame great idea, nice design, but crappy Execution in basic necessary function material that needs to withstand time.To make it work i have to fiddle with cable and connection all the time to make the unit come on. Then if i am lucky it might stay on long enough to heat up. Also, i am noticing that where it plugs is heats up quick and then unit shots off.For the price you guys charge for this you can afford to spend Literally a $1 more to make sure the Basic functional materials are sourced well enough to last few years not 1 month and half.

This product is a great asset for somebody that travels often. My boyfriend bought this for me for Christmas and I couldn’t wait to use it, then I found out it was only able to be used while plugged into the car. As I don’t spend much time in the vehicle, only to and from work, this item wasn’t useful to me. I emailed the seller and she immediately offered a refund, the money was refunded to my credit card within 48 hours of our first email, before I ever returned the cup. Thank you!

Used for bottle warmer. Worked great! Warmed bottle within 10 minutes. However, only my LOs 5oz bottle fit in the mug [Dr.Browns Bottle]...anything larger, no go! Well, it will take longer to heat. The mug was a little bulky for my life style. Taking up a cup holder, not my jam!

I was a bit hesitant because of the price and reviews on others similar not being that great but after reading this particular ones reviews I gave it a shot and purchased for my husband who is on the road driving a truck most of the year. Its been about a month and he LOVES IT! He uses it for all kinds of things including just being able to wash his hands with warm water when he is stuck in the middle of nowhere. I absolutely recommend for anyone who is constantly on the road. Worth the money to give my husband a little happiness

I love this mug! Not only does it keep my coffee HOT but I can start with cold water and heat it to make tea or instant oatmeal for my children. My favorite part is that the heat adjustments are by degree for a specific desired temperature. The only two things I would change is that once it is unplugged it is not well insulated so my coffee gets cold quickly. The other things I would change is I would make the cord a little longer. I have a van with the DC plug all the way on the floor so my cup barely reaches my mouth.
