adidasMen's Terrex AX4 Hiking Shoe

Adidas are the only brand I buy online because I know I won't have any fit problems. I wear a normal Size 10 and these fit as expected. They look cool and they are comfortable. Great traction and no issues so far. I will update this review should I have any issues when I put miles on these.Update 1: This is my second pair of Adidas Terrex shoes. My other pair are Terrex Skychaser LT GTXs. These AX4 are a little bit different. The toe box is a little bit more narrow. Not a problem for me, but keep this in mind if you have wide feet. Also, the sole and heel of the AX4 is much more firm. These are not squishy when you walk or run, but the sole is very supportive.

Tough pair of shoes and I hike on sharp lava rock that tears shoes apart. A little bit heavy but that’s because of the reinforced toe and sole. They are stiff at first. Took me a week to break em in but after that it became very comfortable to wear on hikes and even at work (construction). Kept my feet dry in times of rain but I will say my feet smelt bad for the first month of wearing them. I think after the water proofing wore off of the shoe my feet was allowed to breath again and that issue was no more but that’s something to be aware of.

They're great shoes, but I'm usually an 11.5 this shoe definitely runs small. Should have bought the size 12. Interesting has I have other Terrex products and fit fine as an 11.5.

Really was looking forward to a new pair of Adidas Terrex Ax4! I'd enjoyed and worn out the previous pair.But something has drastically changed in design as noted by other reviewers feedback I'd read and wondered about - the narrowing and cramping of the toe! It was True! Didn't take but a second to notice after lacing them up. I'm not sure why they did this, but it's terrible. My shoe size is standard 8.5 and these fit very poorly. Something must've gotten loose on the production room floor! Worn Adidas all my life, but this makes it less apt I'll do so. Be interesting to hear Adidas' take on this...Ordered up a pair of Keen's, Targhee lii Hiking Sneaker - 100% leather, waterproof, beautiful fit, US made and priced less than the Terrex! Fit like a dream! 5 Star, so far.Will keep looking at Adidas, but will watch fit closely and keep an ear to the ground as to what changed and why. Any respectful comments would be appreciated. Thx!

The Terrex is a shoe I've been wanting for a while. The price was excellent and the color scheme matched my high school Alam mater. CITY beat poly as usuall. Omnibus!!!! I loved the shoe, noticed from the start they were too small. Not a true size 11 which I ordered and which is printed on the label. They fit my son better who is a 10.5, so I gave them to him. He's mountain of shoes grows while mine remains stagnant. That's parenthood I guess.

This is the first pair of Adidas I have owned in many years. I really like the look and how comfortable this shoe is. I suffer from time to time with severe foot pain and these shoes do not seem to aggravate my feet at all. I wear these shoes indoors 10 plus hours a day about 3 times a week. I went with a hiking type tennis shoe in hopes the durability would be at a higher level. Unfortunately in less than 2 months one of the shoes has a small dime size hole on the inside heel area of the shoe and the other shoe appears to be headed in the same direction. I understand that this can happen over time but to happen so soon is extremely disappointing.

Got these on sale for $99 - and I’d have paid twice that. Very comfy, perfect fit (sizing runs ever so slightly large), and great for schlepping around in. Also, showed up a day early. Solid.

I had a similar pair of Adidas size 10 that fit well, and Amazon also recommended a size 10 for me, so I bought a size 10. However, my big toe almost touches the end of the shoe. I'm keeping them because I am desperate for footware (my previous shoes are literally falling apart), and am hopng they stretch, but I really should have ordered a size 10.5 (male). My foot is 10.5 inches long, medium width, which chatGPT says is a 10 or a 10.5.
