Great Value for Warm Cycling Pants
I immediately put this pants to the test when I got them. I wore them for a winter ride in Colorado. When I started the ride, it was around 40 degrees. I was wearing this pants as my only bottom layer, and they were fine. Later in the ride, a snow storm started. I rode in the snow for about an hour. While these pants aren't super waterproof, they are resistant enough that the moisture of the snow didn't make it into my pants. I stayed warm even though I was in the snow for about an hour.I can't comment yet to the reliability of the pants, but they have a bit of heft in them which makes me think the fabric will last a while. Also, they don't breathe too well except at the knees. If worn during warmer weather, you will get very sweaty. All that taken into account, these are an easy 5 stars for the price. They are warm and fit well. For the price, it's really hard to beat.

Fit great when sizing up
I purchased these as an outside layer for the winter. Even though I am a M sized female, since I plan on wearing these over other clothing (I'm using these to bike commute) I got a L. They fit perfect with plenty of room for layers. The drawstring is nice in case I'm wearing it over a thinner layer like a base layer or tights. No issues with quality at all. They breathe well but still keep me protected in colder or windier weather. Will layer more underneath when it gets colder but I've ridden down into the mid-20s with a and so far they're working out well. The reflective stripes are super visible and the velcro ankle strap is a nice plus too. I don't plan on riding in a lot of precipitation but I've ridden in misty weather and they keep me warm and dry. Got this during the most recent Amazon Prime Day sale with the matching jacket and couldn't beat the value.

Good cold weather outer layer.
I am 5' 11" and my weight fluctuates between 195-205. I typically wear size 34-46 pants, and I bought the US/EUR size L of these pants and am happy with the fit. They might be a bit longer than I need, but I also tend to wear pants low due to having a bit of a pouchy belly. As far as warmth goes, these are a great outer layer. I have ridden them on my commutes every day in temperatures as low as 19F and had no issues. As with all cold weather riding, layering is key, and most days when my morning commute is between 30F and 40F I have been wearing my summer bib shorts and long socks beneath these. Below 30F I will either wear full length winter bibs or knickers. My commute is only 20-25 minutes, and mostly uphill, so I generate a fair amount of effort and my legs have kept nice and warm every time I have used these.I will echo some of the other reviews that you will want to turn these inside out to air out when you're done using them, as you will sweat in them. On longer rides in the cold that may end up being an issue, but for my commuting needs these are perfect. These are definitely water resistant, but not waterproof. Puddle splashes, or light mist/drizzle will be fine, but in actual rain, these won't keep you dry, but again, that is not what I expect them to do, so I am ok with that. One thing to note is that these do not have a zip-open bottom, but rather a velcro strap at the back of the ankle to cinch the pants tight. Not the end of the world, but it has helped me to learn that I much prefer the zipper for a snug that won't come undone.I cannot speak to the pocket zippers that some reviews have mentioned as I don't ride with stuff in my pockets, but in the times I have put stuff in and taken them out while wearing the pants off the bike, I have not had any issues with them. The pants offer excellent wind resistance everywhere except the knee area where the material changes to allow for flex, so if you are an old school cyclist that believes your knees need to be warm at all times, be aware of that. And they are still plenty warm in the knee, it just is the only place I have noticed any wind penetration at all.Overall I am really happy with these so far, and I will update this review once we get into properly cold temperatures if need be.

Great for below freezing temps - commuter review
I have a 50min commute each way that I do on a 28mph ebike, averaging around 22mph. I had been wearing Giro Venture pants which are super nice and work well down to 40F (4C) or so. But below freezing they are not enough and the cut is trim enough that you can't comfortably get a lightweight base layer under them. These pants are a much looser cut, but still trim enough to stay out of the drivetrain and not flap around. But most importantly the material has a waffle fleece layer on the inside. They are also completely windproof to the point I suspect there is a PU layer in there. This brings me to the only downside. They are really not breathable at all to the point that even when I'm only averaging 200w, at the end of my commute they are wet on the inside from condensation. But I have ridden with them down to 20F (-7C) with only bib shorts under them and they are still warm, so I'm happy to put up with the moisture. As for sizing I'm 5'10", 175lbs, 33" waist and 32" inseam. The Large size fit me well, I also tried and XL which was much too big. These have an elastic waist and I feel like they would stretch to a 35-36" waist.

Great cycling pants, warm, water resistant, comfortable. Buying another pair, these have been great!
Great cycling pants, warm, water resistant, comfortable. I have ridden in weather down to 2C and never had cold legs. Have had this pair 2 years and they are still in great shape. I like wearing them for walks and have used underneath warm up pants for ice fishing. Great value for the money. Sizing is accurate. I am buying another pair and these will become my outside walking around and camping pants.

Great value - you will be surprised at the quality.
I was apprehensive about purchasing these pants because of the low price. I’ve been pleasantly surprised. I’ve used them for about 200 km of riding in 5 to 10 degree temps. They are totally adequate for warmth - maybe too warm for the higher temps depending on your physical output. I also used them for kayaking in similar temps, they are water resistant to the point that the odd splash of water on them runs off. The quality of stitching and the fabric is excellent, they fit well and look great. I purchased a pair for my wife as well. Highly recommend.

Warm and comfortable
I went one size up but really should have went 2 sizes up. I am usually a large and went XL. They fit but a little snug. Should have went to 2XL.They are definitely not water resistant in the least. While cycling I hit one puddle when it was 2 degrees Celsius and I was soaked right through to my calves and my underwear was soaked on the back from the rear tire throwing up water. I was so cold on that ride from getting so wet.On the other side of the coin I have ridden many days at -6 degrees Celcius and was warm and comfortable for the whole ride. Also the pants look great and feel durable. I have been out for 10 rides with them and only wish I went one more size up. I will wear a thin waterproof layer over top of them when it warms up above zero again to keep dry.
