They are effective. A bit stiff on first use, but soften up quickly enough. The scrubby bit is coarse enough and holds together, while the spongey part works well too. More robust (and environmentally friendly) than the plastic ones from a major supermarket which disintegrate and shed green microplastic immediately. Given how well these ones last, I think they're good value.

Really impressed with these, so much better than store bought sponges. One sponge seems to last ages compared to sorted bought ones that last a few days before needing to be thrown out. Really good value for money and look a look more atheistically pleasing than normal sponges!

I do love a dish sponge when washing up so switching to these environmentally friendly ones was a no brainer. They are a bit stiff when you get going but soon loosen up. I'm now on my second box. They don't scratch. Obviously rhey are more pricey than microplastic sponges but the last box last about 12 months, so it's manageable cost wise.

I tried out these to cut down on plastic use. Although they come at greater price they are also unbelievably sturdy. Where old plastic sponges used to last few days , these can last up to few weeks. I aim to change them every week and then re use them for final cleaning tasks around the house . I also find that original size they coming in is slightly too big for comfortable cleaning (im female with smaller hands so i assume if you have bigger hands you wouldn't have have any issues with sizing) so i do cut them on half for more comfortable use . Overall I'm very happy with the swap and i will keep using these

Love these sponges - they work perfectly and wash well in the washing machine too.

I like that it doesn't contain plastic - which then ends up in the rivers. These are natural sponges that don't pollute.

I thought it would be easy use. But I will not buy it again. It is hard to use and after two times you feel dirt stays there as sticky.

These scourers work better than I expected them to. They are a good size and feel robust.

When I first used these, I was inclined to give them a negative review because the scrubbing part came partially off the sponge pretty quickly. But I am full 5 stars and more on these now that I have used them longer. The back may be partially detached, but so far it works perfectly and stays flat for use. But best of all, even after a couple of weeks of neglect, my sponge does not stink, and it looks and feels as good as day one. It still does not need to be discarded. (I have tried all of the methods for "cleaning" a regular sponge and have been unimpressed.)I just took a whiff of one of these sponges that has been in service for a couple of weeks, ready to toss it. BUT it is absolutely fine. The others would have been irretrievable by now.

These work just as well as the common sponge brands, and last about as long. I had been buying walnut sponges from Grove, but these are quite a bit cheaper.

Behaves like a sponge and scrubby. Microwavable for sanitation. Works well.Only downside is that the two sides separate after a week or two of use. Still usable as two different objects. When done useful life into the compost bin.

I really have been trying to replace my normal plastic items in my day-to-day life with something a bit more environmentally friendly, just to do my part. I thought I'd give these a try and my hopes weren't the best after trying similar sponges of other brands, but Bio Go has gotten it spot on here! Love these and use them exclusively now. They last as long or longer than normal sponges and I can use the older ones for around the house after, then put it right into my compost box. I am now the definition of a lifetime customer!
