Spanish Cooked Chickpeas - Garbanzos - Pack of 2 x 560gr

I am a big fan of chickpeas, these are amazing, so full of flavour. Im always disappointed with chickpeas in the UK, these are from Spain and they are the best chickpeas around.

The last order received was poorly packed and 2 of the 4 jars had their lids damaged and the vacuum sealing had be broken and little of the liquid had seeped into the cardboard packaging. The products were not impaired but the "shelf life" has been reduced considerably. That is the reason for only 3 stars!

These are of excellant quality and taste. They are so much better than the tiny ones you get in tins.

Great size texture and flavour.

Made great hummus.

They are quite tough and crunchy, not what I expected at all. Normally Spanish chickpeas are soft and tender once cooked and even in the jar they come in. I know because I am spanish born and bred and chickpeas are my favourite pulse.They taste nice but I will not buy them again as I have to precook the chickpeas now before using them in my recipes.

Very nice chickpeas took while to arrive. But this is happening at the moment, due to coronavirus. Nice chickpeas and I would strongly recommend this product and service.
